Trump’s Golan Heights Decision: It’s All About Iran Stupid!

(Iran’s historical view of Syria and the Middle East as the Persian Empire of Cyrus the Great. Cyrus liberated Jerusalem from the Babylonians during his conquest of Babylon, 539 BC, and allowed the remnant of 50,000 Jews held captive in Babylon to return to the city of David.)

Jewish Press: Iran has deployed several thousand Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps troops to Syria to help Assad. Additionally, Iran has brought in its buddy Hezbollah to join in on the war. To put the icing on the Iranian cake, Iran’s brought in thousands of Shiite fighters, paid by Tehran and following Iran’s orders.

But don’t think that Iran is trying to help their buddy Assad out of the goodness of their collective hearts. Its presence in Syria helps the rogue regime fulfill two interrelated strategic objectives.

To help Iran control the Middle East, one of its objectives has been to create a “land bridge” to the Mediterranean. Control of territory leading to the sea enables Iran to safely move people and supplies between the Mediterranean and Tehran whenever they want.

The smooth movement of people and supplies allows the Shia Muslim Iran to advance its quest to replace and control the governments of the Sunni states of Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. It’s pretty certain that the US consulted with and explained the President’s rationale to the Sunni countries threatened by Iran above before making his Golan Height’s announcement.

Opinion: While the left says:

  • He was just trying to help Netanyahu
  • It was all about the Jewish vote
  • He did it to show contrast with the anti-Israel Democratic Party

The fact that the US President has the power to declare and make the Golan a part of Israel is proof that Biblical prophecy is happening right before our eyes:

“…  And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled” (Luke 21:24)

The times of the Gentiles began when the Babylonians took the city of Jerusalem in 586 BC. At the end of the captivity, a Gentile Persian King named Cyrus freed the Jews to go back to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple.

Today another Gentile king (president) is controlling Jerusalem, but the city will be divided again just before the end of the tribulation as prophesied in Zechariah 14:1-2:

“Behold, the day of the Lord is coming:
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.”

It is then that the end of Gentile domination ends with the return of Messiah Jesus …

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28-28

… for 1000 years of peace (Revelation 20:1-2).
