ANALYSIS: What’s behind the new wave of violence in Jerusalem?

Assessment: Daily attacks and even frequent riots by Arabs in and around the Old City of Jerusalem have largely gone under-reported in the media …

Watching the news shows broadcasted by Israel’s three major TV stations one could easily come to the conclusion that internal political affairs or the many cases of crime are the most important issues to be reported on these days.

And, when the very tense and explosive situation in Jerusalem is addressed there is hardly any mentioning of the root causes of the escalating violence by Palestinian Arabs.

Maor Tzemach, chairman of the NGO Your Jerusalem. this week harshly criticized the Israeli media for their hush-hush reporting on Arab violence in Jerusalem. He claimed the media were wary to report the harsh reality on the ground because they don’t want to embarrass the current government that has an Arab Islamist party and a far-left party in its ranks.

Let’s now take a look at this harsh reality on the ground and at what is driving the current riots near Jerusalem’s Old City.

Every single day in the last period, Israeli police and officers of the Border Police had to deal with hundreds of rioting Arabs who come to the so-called Damascus Gate (Sha’ar Shechem in Hebrew) to throw stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli Jews and police officers.

On Wednesday, for example, the police arrested 22 Arabs and had to fire warning shots in the air in an effort to disperse the violent crowds.

Walmart Rolls Out Bitcoin ATMs Across 200 Stores Nationwide

Assessment: The Biden administration is allegedly looking into an executive order directing federal agencies to study crypto and give recommendations, anonymous sources told Bloomberg. As a part of the executive order, the White House would also appoint a crypto czar who would be the point person on all things crypto. 

While adoption of cryptocurrencies is accelerating among the investor class, rapidly enabled by this week’s launch of the first bictoin (futures) ETF, it appears the even broader adoption of digital currencies into day-to-day life and mom-and-pop may be about to escalate dramatically.

Reuters reports that Walmart customers at some of its U.S. stores will be able to purchase bitcoin using ATM-like machines installed by Coinstar.

Coinstar, known for its machines that can exchange physical coins for cash, has partnered with digital currency exchange CoinMe to let customers buy bitcoin at some of its kiosks.

“Coinstar, in partnership with Coinme, has launched a pilot that allows its customers to use cash to purchase bitcoin,” Walmart communications director Molly Blakeman told CoinDesk via email.

“There are 200 Coinstar kiosks located inside Walmart stores across the United States that are part of this pilot.”

Marshall emphasized the White House’s refusal to acknowledge natural immunity among those who recovered from the coronavirus in its campaign for universal vaccination.

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) highlighted the consequences of a dishonorable discharge, a possible outcome for military personnel refusing to comply with vaccine mandates imposed by the Biden administration across the U.S. armed forces, on Thursday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with special guest host Jerome Hudson.

Marshall remarked, “The White House wants to give servicemembers a dishonorable discharge if they’re separated because of refusing the vaccine. [Americans must] understand the significance of a dishonorable discharge. Those folks will be treated as felons. They’ll never be able to get a job, again.

NJ gov. changes state law so nurses, other medical professionals can perform abortions

Assessment: The changes also mean that abortions after 14-weeks can take place in a doctor’s office, instead of a hospital.

On Wednesday, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy approved a regulation change that now allows physicians’ assistants, nurses, and midwives to commit abortions. The new law also removed regulations stating that abortions after 14 weeks could not take place in doctor’s offices.

While the state does not have any time restrictions on abortion, it had a previous stipulation that abortions after 14 weeks could only take place in a licensed hospital. Now, with the regulation change, women could potentially get a very dangerous late-term abortion in a routine doctor’s office.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:13-14

While the new regulations are a dangerous change for women, abortion advocates are hailing them as progress. “At a time when other states are creating roadblocks to reproductive health and abortion care, New Jersey is working to expand access to these vital services, especially for communities facing systemic, economic, and logistical barriers to care,” Murphy said in a statement.

Democrats Now Say They Will Only Snoop on Bank Transactions Over $10,000

In response to pressure from the Republican Party and the banking industry, Democrats have decided to scale back their original plan to have all bank transactions over $600 to be reported to the IRS. Instead, the cap has been raised to $10,000.

Amid Israeli opposition, US said to propose joint team on consulate reopening

The US and Israel are reportedly planning to form a joint team tasked with resolving a growing dispute over the Biden administration’s plan to reopen the US consulate in Jerusalem, against the wishes of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s new government.

The joint panel will be led by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Foreign Minister Lapid, along with one or two senior aides from both sides, according to a Wednesday Axios report.

“I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.” Joel 3:2

Blinken proposed the idea during a meeting with Lapid in Washington last week, when Biden’s plan to reopen what historically served as the de facto representative mission to the Palestinians was raised.

The consulate was shuttered by former US president Trump in 2019 and its staff were folded into the US embassy, moved to the city a year earlier, in what the Palestinians view as a de facto downgrading of their ties with the US. Read More @ Times of Israel HERE

Credit Card Cuts Off Spending When You Reach Your CO2 Limit

The company that created a credit card to track your purchases’ CO2 emissions is set to launch a “premium” version of the card that cuts off your spending as soon as you hit your “carbon max.”

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads” Rev. 13:16

This is the latest of many schemes to force major changes in human behaviour to allegedly lessen global warming. Social scientist and author Steven Mosher has called the global warming movement a “giant propaganda effort” and “the biggest scientific fraud ever perpetrated on the family of man.”

Doconomy has partnered with Mastercard and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to create technology for the everyday consumer that “connects the purchase price of a product with the effect on the planet measured in Kg CO2, and then recommends the amount to offset – practically putting a price on carbon,” as the Doconomy website explains.

The DO credit card works hand-in-hand with a phone app, launched in April 2019, that quantifies the CO₂ emissions generated from each credit card transaction. The website introduces the card with video footage of whitewashed, typical consumer goods floating, like trash, as if through space, each labeled with a carbon emissions number.

The back of the card reads underneath the signature authorization area, “I’m taking responsibility for every transaction I make to help protect our planet.”

Doconomy will soon release a “premium” version of the credit card, called DO Black, touting it as “the first credit card ever to stop you from overspending.”
