Or his Transportation Secretary, a man who thinks he’s married to a man.

The Wall Street Journal delivered the dope on Soviet-born Omarova in an editorial.

China Joe “checked off another progressive identity box” when he nominated Omarova, the Journal observed. “ Some Trump appointees were ridiculed for having supported the elimination of their agencies. Ms. Omarova wants to eliminate the banks she’s being appointed to regulate.”

Indeed, Omarova’s radical ideas might “make even Bernie Sanders blush.”

Born in Kazakhstan, SSR, Omarova graduated from “Moscow State University in 1989 on the Lenin Personal Academic Scholarship. Biden Fails To Clinch Infrastructure Deal, Is Ordered By Staff Not To Take Questions

Assessment: While the US got a reprieve from the president’s inflationary economic agenda thanks to Democrat Senators Manchin and Sinema, the obvious question is who gives the orders to the president’s staff?

The Democrats were supposed to “get it done today”; instead the Biden-mediated negotiation with the increasingly rebellious progressives proved to be the latest failure for the 78 year old president.

Speaking to reporters after a brief, 30-minute meeting with the House Democratic caucus, Biden said there was no rush to pass his economic agenda amid tensions over how to proceed on a Senate-passed infrastructure bill and a larger reconciliation package.  It was Biden’s first time traveling to Capitol Hill to push for his agenda since July, when he met with Senate Democrats.

“We’re gonna get this done,” Biden said as he departed the caucus meeting, adding that “It doesn’t matter when. It doesn’t matter whether it’s six minutes, six days or six weeks. We’re gonna get it done.”

Only it clearly won’t be six minutes because the infrastructure vote which many had expected to take place today, won’t be taking place today as progressives stood their ground, and maintained their demands for a $3.5 trillion package, even though Biden again made it clear that the topline of the spending package won’t be $3.5 trillion, a number which Joe Manchin has made clear is idiotic.

In fact, according to Politico, the discussed top-line of the range was $1.9 to $2.3 trillion, both of which are also unlikely to get Manchin’s approval. Read More @ Zero Hedge HERE

Biden’s ‘Evacuation’ Was a Taliban Human Trafficking Scheme

Assessment: The Biden administration claims to have evacuated 124,000 people, of them only 5,500 Americans, from Afghanistan.

After Biden evacuated tens of thousands of Afghan “translators”, refugee resettlement groups are desperately looking for translators to translate to the translators.

Why do Afghan translators, who were supposed to be able to translate from English to their native language, need help from translators?

It’s because they’re not translators.

In the last two years, Front Page Magazine ran multiple articles like How the ‘Interpreter’ Scam Brought 75,000 Iraqis and Afghans to America and ‘Saving Afghan Interpreters’ is a Scam That Would Bring 100,000 Afghans to U.S. exposing the “translator” scam. Now tens of thousands of Afghans are arriving in this country and they need translators because they don’t speak English.

As I previously pointed out, there were more Afghan “translators” applying for visas than there were American soldiers for them to translate for. But the vast majority of SIV visa applicants were never translators. The number of actual translators, Afghans embedded with U.S. forces who risked their lives by working in the field, was miniscule and was its own special category.

Vatican To Punish Employees Who Refuse To Comply With COVID-19 Certification

Zero Hedge: The Vatican is set to punish employees who refuse to comply with COVID-19 certification by not paying them.

Yes, really.

Vatican staffers who are unable to prove they’d been jabbed or who refuse to pay for expensive negative COVID tests will be considered “unjustly absent” and paid no salary.

The new rules will go into force from October 1st onwards.

As we highlighted last week, the Italian government has also passed a decree applying to both the private and public sector ordering companies to withhold pay from workers who refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

Those found working without the pass face fines of up to €1,500 euros after it was extended as a condition of entry for museums, stadiums, pubs, restaurants, and schools.

The unvaccinated were also banned from using long distance public transport, meaning that holidays, travel for work and visiting relatives has become impossible for many.

A sliver of good news is that Italians continue to hit the streets to protest the measures, with one video showing police officers removing their helmets in solidarity with the demonstrators.

Despite many Christians asserting a religious exemption to the vaccination, the Vatican itself is offering no such workaround.

Pope Francis has been a vehement supporter of the mass vaccination program, asserting that humanity “has a history of friendship with vaccines.”

“The Vatican has said that it considers it acceptable for Catholics to use vaccines, even those that use stem cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research,” reports the Mail.

Merck touts expensive new COVID drug while dismissing cheap ivermectin

WND: The federal government already has a $1.2 billion contract with Merck to buy molnupiravir at $700 per 10-pill course, reported economic policy analyst Phil Kerpen, the president of the non-profit American Commitment. Displaying a copy of the contract on Twitter, he added that the government holds options for up to $3.7 billion.

Dr. Pierre Kory, who has testified of ivermectin’s effectiveness against COVID-19 in Senate testimony, said Friday that while Merck says molnupiravir reduces hospitalization and death by 47%, studies show ivermectin’s rate is 88%.

On Friday, Merk said molnupiravir showed “compelling results” in clinical trials, cutting the risk of hospitalization or death in patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 by about 50% in a late-stage trial.

 

Iranian State Media Promotes Kamala Harris Applauding Student Accusing Israel of ‘Ethnic Genocide’

Breitbart: The social media account for Iranian state media, Press TV, promoted a clip of Vice President Kamala Harris applauding a student who accused Israel of “ethnic genocide” and expressed “hurt” at the U.S.’s decision to fund the Iron Dome missile defense system.

Press TV tweeted out a clip of the exchange, from Tuesday, of the vice president and a female student from Virginia’s George Mason University during a Q&A session following an event commemorating National Voter Registration Day.

The student, who identified herself as part-Yemeni, part-Iranian, and “not an American,” said the policy decisions from the United States, such as funding Saudi Arabia and Israel, affect her life “every day.”

Zvi Yehezkeli, Arab affairs analyst at Channel 13, on Friday morning warned that Israel has no plan for dealing with the Iranian threat.

In a Friday morning interview with 103 FM Radio, Yehezkeli emphasized that Iran is determined to become a nuclear power.

“The Iranians are advancing towards a nuclear weapon, and Israel has no strategy,” he told the radio station. Read More

Yellen lends support for effort to remove the debt ceiling altogether

CNBC: With a potential default looming for the U.S. in October, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Thursday she would just as soon see the power over debt limits taken away from Congress.

A bill introduced in May would repeal the national debt ceiling, and Yellen said “yes, I would” when asked during a House hearing if she backs the effort.

“For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.” Deut. 15:6

She noted Congress makes the decisions on taxes and spending, and should provide the ability to pay those obligations.

“If to finance those spending and tax decisions, it’s necessary to issue additional debt, I believe it’s very disruptive to put the president and myself, the Treasury secretary, in a situation where we might be unable to pay the bills that result from those past decisions,” she said in response to a question from Rep.
