Stock futures inch higher after a broad rally on Wall Street following vaccine approval

CNBC: Stock futures edged higher in morning trading Tuesday following a broad-based rally on news that U.S. regulators granted full approval for Pfizer-BioNTech’s Covid vaccine.

Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 65 points. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures traded in positive territory.

The market started the week on a high note as shares sensitive to an economic recovery jumped on optimism that the vaccine approval would clear path for more mandates in the face of the spread of the delta variant.

“Considering the recent spike in cases and some of the disappointing economic data, this is another step in the right direction, and it helps give confidence to those who might still be holding out on getting the vaccine,” said Ryan Detrick, chief market strategist at LPL Financial. Read More

Former U.S. Amb. to Afghanistan Rejects Biden’s Claim Al Qaeda Is Gone

Breitbart: Appearing Monday on the Fox News Channel’s The Story, former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Ryan Crocker rejected President Joe Biden’s disputed claim that Al Qaeda is no longer operational in Afghanistan, stating the Islamic terror group “is not gone and they will come back.”

Former Ambassador Ryan Crocker laments 'Al Qaeda is back': 'We've turned Afghanistan into our mortal enemy' | Fox News

MARTHA MACCALLUM: What do you say about the president saying that Al Qaeda is gone and what kind of threat do you believe Al Qaeda possess at this point?

AMB. RYAN CROCKER: Al Qaeda is not gone and they will be back. The Taliban chose two decades in exile, rather than to hand over Al Qaeda, which is a demand we made to them after 9/11. “You give us Al Qaeda and we won’t bother you.” Well, they chose to protect Al Qaeda. The Taliban is back and Al Qaeda is going to be back right with them. This is a huge danger to our security.

Taliban Threatens Joe Biden: Stay in Afghanistan Past August and Suffer ‘Consequences’

Breitbart: A senior Taliban spokesman told the U.K.’s Sky News on Monday that the United States and its ally Britain will face “consequences” if they seek to extend their military presence in Afghanistan to ensure the safe evacuation of their citizens.

American President Joe Biden announced this summer that he would withdraw all American troops from the country by August 31.

“Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt” Deut. 23:9

Biden had previously announced in April that the withdrawal would end on September 11, the 20th anniversary of the jihadist attacks that prompted the Afghan War. Both dates were a significant extension of the war from the set withdrawal date under former President Donald Trump, who brokered a deal with the Taliban that would have seen a full American military exit by May 1.

The Taliban followed Biden’s extension of the war – and his choice to break the agreement Trump brokered with the jihadist organization – with a nationwide campaign to overthrow the now-former government of Afghanistan. The campaign culminated with Taliban terrorists surrounding the country’s capital, Kabul, on August 15, prompting former President Ashraf Ghani to abruptly flee the country.

Taliban leaders now control nearly all of Afghanistan, excepting a small pocket of resistance in north-central Panjsher province, which the jihadists claimed on Monday they had surrounded and would soon control. Read More

SYRIAN MEDIA: ISRAELI MISSILE STRIKE HITS NEAR DAMASCUS

Israel 365: The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that an alleged Israeli missile strike hit near Damascus on Thursday night. The media cited a Syrian army source as saying that air defenses intercepted several Israeli missiles. Lebanese media outlets had reported low-flying Israeli jets above Beirut just prior to the attack. Damascus residents reported hearing at least five loud explosions that shook apartment buildings over a 15-minute time span.

“Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city,
And it will be a ruinous heap.” Isaiah 17:1

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a war monitor, said at least three missiles targeted Hezbollah weapon depots in the Homs region near the capital Damascus. It is unclear whether the attack caused any casualties.

It marks the the first international expansion of PayPal’s crypto product, which first launched in the U.S. in October last year.

PayPal’s crypto feature lets customers buy or sell bitcoinbitcoin cashethereum or litecoin with as little as £1. Users can also track crypto prices in real-time, and find educational content on the market.

While Afghanistan fell, US military focused on “diversity”

Channel 7 News: A week after his testimony, the Taliban had not only doubled their number of districts, but possessed hundreds of captured U.S. armored vehicles, along with artillery and drones.

“I want to understand white rage, and I’m white,” Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, whined at a congressional hearing.

He might have done better to understand Muslim rage.

“A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.” Proverbs 18:2

No one, from the media to Milley, cared about the actual coup underway in Afghanistan.

“This department will be diverse. It will be inclusive,” Biden’s Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin insisted. “I’m committed to that. This department is committed to that. The chairman’s committed to that.”

While Biden’s brass were pledging allegiance to diversity, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi welcomed Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar to the People’s Republic of China. Yi praised the Taliban as a “a pivotal military and political force” and mocked the United States.

The United States Army was busy “developing and implementing a strategic plan to advance DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) across the Total Force” as the Taliban seized the capitals of Helmand and Herat. Read More

TALIBAN GOING DOOR-TO-DOOR EXECUTING CHRISTIANS

Israel 365: Frontier Alliance International, a global Christian missionary organization, released a statement last week stating that the Taliban in Afghanistan is going door-to-door, searching for Christians and executing them.

The Taliban has a hit list of known Christians they are targeting to pursue and kill.

If you refrained from rescuing those taken off to death, Those condemned to slaughter—If you say, “We knew nothing of it,” Surely He who fathoms hearts will discern [the truth], He who watches over your life will know it, And He will pay each man as he deserves. Proverbs 24:11 (The Israel BibleTM)

The US Embassy is defunct and there is no longer a safe place for believers to take refuge. All borders to neighboring countries are closed and all flights to and from have been halted, with the exception of private planes. People are fleeing into the mountains looking for asylum. They are fully reliant on God, who is the only One who can and will protect them.

TALIBAN GOING DOOR-TO-DOOR

The Taliban are going door-to-door taking women and children. The people must mark their house with an “X” if they have a girl over 12 years old, so that the Taliban can take them. If they find a young girl and the house was not marked they will execute the entire family. If a married woman 25 years or older has been found, the Taliban promptly kill her husband, do whatever they want to her, and then sell her as a sex slave.

Husbands and fathers have given their wives and daughters guns and told them that when the Taliban come, they can choose to kill them or kill themselves—it is their choice. Read More

Biden is blasted for breaking election promise NOT to raise taxes on small businesses

Daily Mail:

  • On the campaign trail Biden was asked if he would raise tax on small businesses
  • On February 20, 2020 he said: ‘No. Taxes on small businesses won’t go up’
  • Next week House Democrats will vote on the framework for the tax hikes
  • Biden wants to raise the top marginal income tax rate to 39.6 pc, from 37pc
  • Americans For Tax Reform calculate 1.9 million small businesses will be affected
  • Furthermore, Biden plans to remove a ‘step up’ in basis on inherited property
  • The rule means the person who inherits the property can sell it immediately without paying any capital gains tax – a loophole Biden wants to remove

The White House proposal – backed by the president himself – will begin winding its way through Congress next week.

“… And he who earns wages,
Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” Haggai 6:1

Last week the Senate passed a $3.5 trillion budget resolution that would pave the way for legislation based on Biden’s plans, and the Democrat-majority House is expected to vote on the budget resolution next week, meaning it will almost certainly pass. Read More

Blinken On If Biden Knows ‘What’s Going On’ In Afghanistan: It’s An ‘Emotional Time For Many Of Us’

Daily Wire: Secretary of State Antony Blinken gave an eyebrow-raising answer on Sunday when pressed about whether President Joe Biden knows what’s going on when it comes to Afghanistan, claiming that it was an “incredibly emotional time” for many people while refusing to directly answer the question.

Fox News host Chris Wallace repeatedly showed Blinken examples of things that Biden said during a press conference last week that were false, including the false claim that Al Qaeda was gone from Afghanistan and that U.S. allies have not questioned the administration’s credibility.
