Live Action: February is Black History Month. But there is a very real part of the Black history narrative that most people — including people in the Black community — do not know: the Civil Rights Movement was pro-life, and the battle for so-called “abortion rights” has always been a red herring for racism. However, Rev. Walter B. Hoye II, founder of the Issues4Life Foundation, knows the truth, and he is not afraid to speak it, no matter the consequences.
“You’ve got to understand that the first two pro-life groups in America were Black,” Hoye stated in an interview with Live Action News. “The Nation of Islam … [and] the Black Panthers were pro-life, too. In the middle of the 60’s … all of us knew that Planned Parenthood was just a racist dog.” Hoye pointed out that in 1965, Cecil Moore, then-president of the NAACP, said: “Planned Parenthood’s plan is replete with everything to help the Negroes commit race suicide.” Hoye added:
We’ve always known what abortion is and what abortion does. Always. And what we’ve done as a people — it’s us, it’s not white folk, it’s us — we sold out. We’ve sold our civil rights legacy… we’ve said publicly that “a woman’s right to choose” is a civil right. Can you imagine abortion existing if it wasn’t considered a civil right? No way. And in order for [abortion] to be [considered a civil right], we have to confirm it.
But “selling out” has not enriched the Black community—on the contrary, it has decimated it. Read More …
Opinion: “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:2
Rev. Walter B. Hoye II speaks the truth. Abortion was conceived by Margaret Sanger as a means to eliminate the ‘Negro’ people, and other selective breeding.
Justice Clarence Thomas documented at length the link between Margaret Sanger, Planned Parenthood, the eugenics movement, and the use of abortion as a eugenic tool.
“Eugenics, which literally means “good genes,” refers to the “purification” of the human race by the elimination of those deemed “inferior” or “defective.” As Justice Thomas explained, a leading figure
DESCRIBED EUGENICS AS “THE SCIENCE OF IMPROVING STOCK” THROUGH “ALL INFLUENCES THAT TEND IN HOWEVER REMOTE A DEGREE TO GIVE TO THE MORE SUITABLE RACES OR STRAINS OF BLOOD A BETTER CHANCE OF PREVAILING SPEEDILY OVER THE LESS SUITABLE THAN THEY OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE.” F. GALTON, INQUIRIES INTO HUMAN FACULTY AND ITS DEVELOPMENT 25, N. 1 (1883).
Justice Thomas’s opinion deserves reading in full, but his key thesis is as follows:
THE FOUNDATIONS FOR LEGALIZING ABORTION IN AMERICA WERE LAID DURING THE EARLY 20TH-CENTURY BIRTH-CONTROL MOVEMENT. THAT MOVEMENT DEVELOPED ALONGSIDE THE AMERICAN EUGENICS MOVEMENT. AND SIGNIFICANTLY, PLANNED PARENTHOOD FOUNDER MARGARET SANGER RECOGNIZED THE EUGENIC POTENTIAL OF HER CAUSE.
It boggles the mind that powerful progressive women covet the Margaret Sanger Woman of the Year award.
