Entire Russian Government Resigns to Make Way for Putin Power Grab

Breitbart: Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev made a startling announcement on Wednesday that he and his entire government will resign to get out of President Vladimir Putin’s way as Putin rewrites the Russian constitution.

Putin seeks to add provisions that would allow him to remain in power indefinitely, although he might still have to forfeit the title of “president.”

Putin laid out his proposed constitutional changes only a few hours earlier during Russia’s version of the State of the Union address, calling for a nationwide referendum to implement them. Opinion: Putin might have to settle for Czar Vladimir, a title I’m pretty sure he dreams about.

Joel Rosenberg’s groundbreaking 2006 book “Epicenter” (autographed) sits on my bookshelf. Chapter 7 “A Czar Rises in Russia” does not make Rosenberg a prophet, but it is prophetic.

Rosenberg was speaking with Congressional leaders and explained that an ancient prophecy pointed to a Russian Czar in the last days called Gog (Ezekiel 38:1-2) who would lead an attack against Israel to take great plunder.

The constitutional changes were passed by the annual sitting of parliament, the National People’s Congress. The vote was widely regarded as a rubber-stamping exercise. Two delegates voted against the change and three abstained, out of 2,964 votes.

The rise of dictators:

The prophet Daniel speaks of another world leader rising that will rule with great power.

“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet” Daniel 7:7.

The fourth beast is global government that will be divided into 10 divisions… each with a king or president.

Daniel 7:8 continues  “It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.”

There we see the emergence of Antichrist who comes to power with a 7 year term limit (Daniel 9:27). The European Union is looking for such a man.

Former European Commission President Jean Claude Junker, September 15, 2017 said this: “Europe would be easier to understand if one captain was steering the ship.”

How do we know the final government is the European Union? Daniel 9:26 tells us that the prince who is to come, Antichrist, will be from the same people who destroyed the Jewish temple in 70 AD – the vast Roman Empire.

“And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.”
