BIN: The Sanhedrin tasked Shimshon Elboim, head of the Temple Mount Organizations, with submitting a letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu to perform the ritual korban Pesach (Passover sacrifice) in its proper place, the Temple Mount, and in its Biblically mandated time, Wednesday afternoon, the eve of the Passover feast.
“God forbid we should allow the coronavirus to strike His children with rising up to bring about the solution given in the Torah for epidemics,” the letter read.
In addition to permission to perform the ritual on the Temple Mount, Elboim filed for permits to transport the altar from where it is being stored in Elkana in Samaria to Jerusalem. The Passover sacrifice can only be offered in one place; on the Temple Mount. The sacrifice does not require an actual Temple structure but it does require an altar that is built to adhere to the Biblical requirements. Such an altar was constructed last year and stands ready. Opinion: The world is seeing so many clues of the last days. I can’t help but wonder if the church is even watching.
“Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.” Daniel 9:27
For there to be an end to animal sacrifice means it will have started. And according to Judaism 101 (here) the last place appointed by G-d for this purpose was the Temple in Jerusalem.
Just the fact that animal sacrifice is under consideration is paving the way for Daniel’s prophecy to be fulfilled. Continuing to work backwards from what we know, take a look at the next line of Daniel 9:27:
“And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”
There will be two abominations of the holy temple, one has already happened:
158 BC Antiochus Epiphanes erected a statue of Zeus in the Holy of Holies and slaughtered a pig on the altar.
And one is still future:
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” Matthew 24;15-16
The scene is the middle of the 7 year tribulation. Antichrist is now a ruthless dictator who, after allowing the Jews a temple, has demanded they worship him. Their refusal will touch off the great Tribulation, or 3.5 years of hell on earth (Matthew 24:21)
The Jews flee to the most likely mountain of Seir (Edom), the former home of Esau now called Petra (southern Jordan), where there are caves in the high cliffs and narrow entrances where they will be protected from Antichrist.
Daniel 11:41 even covered that one:
“He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon.”
Ammon, Moab, and Edom represent all of Jordan.
