Prophecy News Watch: In October, Venezuela won a seat on the U.N.’s Human Rights Council with 105 votes, despite its very public and recorded human-rights abuses. A total of 14 U.N. members were elected to the 47-member council for three-year terms starting in January, including the human rights-violating countries Cuba, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Sudan, China, Egypt, Qatar, Somalia and Pakistan.
Haley, a former governor of South Carolina, wrote in an op-ed last month in The Miami Herald that “Venezuela is the last country that should sit on a council that’s supposed to protect human rights.” On Twitter, she denounced Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s regime as being “one of the world’s worst human-rights abusers.”
“Many encouraged us to remain on the council because the United States, they said, provided the last shred of credibility the Human Rights Council had,” she noted in her Dec. 5 speech. “And that was precisely why we decided to leave. The United States should not lend any credibility to this cesspool of political hypocrisy and corruption.”
“The United Nations’ greatest failure when measured by the yardstick of its own charter is the Human Rights Council,” she added. Read More …
Opinion: Nikki Haley was the anti-Samantha Power. Power was a George Soros acolyte and Barack Obama’s voice in the UN. Haley made powerful speeches in support of Israel that were praised by this president, and Power and her president did the opposite.
If anyone were to search for the perfect support structure for the final dictator, the UN and Vatican are moving quickly to be ready for his entrance on the world stage.
