The experts who watch the box office said Lightyear would gross $70 to $85 million domestic and do another $50 to $60 million offshore for a worldwide opening of $135 million. Instead, the gayed-up Toy Story origin story crash-landed with a $51 million domestic opening and only an additional $34 million offshore, for a pathetic $85.6 million worldwide haul.
In other words, Lightyear’s worldwide haul equaled what was supposed to be its domestic haul, and that whachoocall a bigtime flopperoo.

Opinion: For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” 2 Thess 2:7-8
There are times when it looks as though lawlessness concerning God’s word is consuming the world. Then, when you least expect it, a victory of sorts occurs. Disney’s evil intention to promote that which is abomination before Almighty God, is getting rejected ALL OVER THE WORLD.
“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” Leviticus 18:22
And that rejection is a reminder that the restrainer (Holy Spirit), is still indwelt in the believers of the Church of Jesus Christ, and only when He is taken out of the way at the Rapture (1 Thess. 4:16-17) or the catching up of believers to meet Christ in the air, will evil be unrestrained for a short period of time.
Now look at the first part of the verse 8: “And then the lawless one will be revealed ,…”.
Do you see that?
- First: Lawlessness will be restrained until the Holy Spirit and the Church He indwells is removed in the rapture
- Second: Antichrist cannot be revealed until the Holy Spirit and the Church are removed
- Third: When that happens evil will be unrestrained for a time of 3.5 years (Daniel 9:27)
Now the rest of verse 8: “whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.”
What is mind boggling is that when Christ returns, the Antichrist, the false god who caused of unparalleled death and destruction all over the world under the authority of Satan, will be done away with quickly and quietly.
In fact Daniel puts it like this:
“And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.” Daniel 11:45
