Lifesite News: During his acceptance speech at the widely-criticized Democratic National Convention last night, 77-year-old Joe Biden promised that if he was elected the next president of the United States he’d be “an ally of the light, not the darkness.”
“I will draw on the best of us, not the worst,” the former Vice President said. “I’ll be an ally of the light, not the darkness…make no mistake, united we can and will overcome this season of darkness in America.”
The convention drove the point home all week that Biden is the candidate who will restore America to a more wholesome period. Michelle Obama called him a “profoundly decent” human being in her remarks while video montages shared stories about Biden’s Catholic upbringing and his friendship with Republican lawmakers like John McCain.
There’s only one major problem here: The past four years haven’t been a period of darkness…and Joe Biden is anything but a light-bearer.
- He wants abortion on demand until birth.
- He would restore billions of dollars to Planned Parenthood.
- He’s promised to force religious groups like the Little Sisters of the Poor to violate their conscience and provide abortion-inducing drugs.
- He’s pledged to pass the pro-LGBT, anti-religious liberty “Equality Act.” Read More …
Opinion: The Equality Act would amend two landmark civil-rights laws—the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Fair Housing Act—to change the definition of “sex.” Instead of the term being solely in reference to biological men and women, it would also cover sexual orientation or gender identity for the purposes of employment, housing, public accommodations, jury service, education, and federal programs.
According to the bill, the term “sexual orientation” means homosexuality, heterosexuality, or bisexuality, and “gender identity” means the gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, regardless of the individual’s designated sex at birth. source
The Equality Act will use coercion to force taxpayers to pay for abortions and force doctors, nurses, and faith-based hospitals to commit abortions, superseding protections formerly enacted by many states. It would also force many religious adoption agencies out of business.
The Equality Act will allow “any biological male to step into female sports on the high school, college, and pro-athlete level,” grossly disadvantaging female athletes, whose rights will be denied.
The end of the Christian era:
“A teacher in Virginia who was fired for failing to use a female student’s preferred masculine pronouns, and a professor in Ohio who was disciplined for doing the same. A homeless shelter for abused women in Alaska has been sued for refusing to admit a biological male, and in Illinois, California, and Vermont, foster parents are expected to provide children suffering from gender dysphoria with transition-affirming therapies over parents’ medical or moral objections.” source
Don’t take my word for it take Joe’s
Our post June 3, 2019, Joe Biden spoke at the Human Rights Campaign. At 23 minutes 4 seconds Joe Biden says if elected president, the Equality Act will be ‘the first thing he asks to be done’.
What I found curious is that Joe didn’t seem to have dementia just one year ago and he didn’t seem to have dementia when he accepted the Democrat nomination.
