Arutz Sheva: Move over, Ben & Jerry’s. Now the congresswomen known as “The Squad” have launched a new attack on Israel—and, just like the ice cream maker, one of their prime targets is Jerusalem.
The dirty little secret of the Ben & Jerry’s assault is that it is aimed not just at “settlements” but at Israel’s capital, Jerusalem. The ice cream company’s use of the vague term “Occupied Palestinian Territory” is a deliberate attempt to hide the unpopular fact that their boycott extends to the Western Wall.
Now “The Squad” is taking aim at the Wall, too—only they are being much more open about it.
In a letter to Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen this week, four self-described “Squad” members, together with three other Democrats, called for revoking the tax-exempt status of American charities that send funds to projects in “Occupied Palestinian Territory.”
Yes, the Squad and company used the exact same term as did Ben & Jerry’s—except that they actually defined the territory in question. Religious Jews cannot conduct animal sacrifices and offerings without a temple, and Daniel 9:27 assures us that Antichrist will confirm peace treaties with Israel’s neighbors, allow sacrifice for atonement (temple), and cancel it exactly 3.5 years after it starts.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (Hebrew 7 years): and in the midst of the week (3.5 years) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease …” KJV
Jesus in Matthew 24:15-16 instructs the Jews in Judea when they see Antichrist standing in the holy place (temple) to flee to the mountains (Mt.Seir) in southern Jordan where they will be protected:
“He (Antichrist) shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.” Daniel 11:41
The red mountains of Edom (Hebrew red), the former home of Esau, the eternal enemy of the Jews, is in southern Jordan.
It is truly uncanny how wrong the squad is.
