“Giant Mistake” – CDC Delays Emergency Meeting On Post-Vax Heart Inflammation Due To Juneteenth

Zero Hedge: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has pushed back an emergency meeting on post-vaccination heart inflammation seen in Americans, primarily young people, because of a new federal holiday.

President Joe Biden signed a bill on Thursday making June 19 a new holiday, Juneteenth. Shortly afterwards, the CDC said its June 18 meeting “is being rescheduled due to the observation of the Juneteenth National Independence Day holiday.”

“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12 KJV

A federal office said Thursday that because June 19 falls on a Saturday this year, the observation will take place on Friday.

The meeting, which was deemed an emergency when announced last week, will now be folded into a June 23 to June 25 virtual meeting, the CDC said.

The agency did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Read More

Mortgage rates shoot higher after Fed Chairman Powell’s comments

CNBC: The average rate on the popular 30-year fixed mortgage moved decidedly higher Thursday, hitting 3.25%, according to Mortgage News Daily. That is the highest rate since mid-April.

The move was a reaction to comments made Wednesday by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell following the central bank’s meeting this week. Fed officials indicated that rate hikes could come in 2023, although they didn’t mention when they would start scaling back their massive bond-buying program.

“You can think of this meeting that we had as the ‘talking about talking about’ meeting,” Powell said, recalling a statement he made in 2020 that the bank wasn’t “thinking about thinking about raising rates.”

Mortgage rates even moved higher Tuesday in anticipation of the Fed meeting.  Read More

Biden Uses Juneteenth to Push His Federal Takeover of Elections and the Suburbs

PJ Media: On Thursday, President Joe Biden signed a law proclaiming Juneteenth, June 19, a federal holiday, commemorating the freeing of the very last slaves in the United States in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865. Yet the president used Juneteenth as an excuse to push his radical agenda, including his federal takeover of elections and housing. He demonized Republican voter integrity laws and hailed a federal program that will pull zoning decisions away from city councils.

Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard
Rather than the shout of a ruler of fools.” Ecclesiastes 9:17

“The truth is, it’s simply not enough to just commemorate Juneteenth. After all, emancipation of enslaved black Americans didn’t mark the end of America’s work to deliver on the promise of equality,” Biden said. “To honor the true meaning of Juneteenth, we have to continue toward that promise. We’ve not gotten there yet.”

The president said his administration is “committed to doing just that. That’s why we’ve launched an aggressive effort to combat racial discrimination in housing.”

Combatting racial discrimination in housing is a noble goal, but Biden was referring to a revamped version of the Obama administration’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule (AFFH), a rule that started removing zoning from the purview of state and local governments. The Trump administration eliminated the rule, but the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under Biden has already proposed two new rules. Part of Biden’s $2.3 trillion infrastructure plan explicitly pushes for apartment buildings in neighborhoods that are currently restricted to single-family homes. Read More

Israel Targets Gaza Terrorists in Retaliation for Third Straight Day of Arson Balloon Attacks

Algemeiner: Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted outposts of Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip, after the country’s southern region was subjected to a barrage of incendiary balloons from the enclave for the third day in a row on Thursday.

“And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.” Genesis 27:41

Authorities reported at least eight fires breaking out throughout the day near Israeli communities adjacent to the Gaza border.

The air strikes on the Palestinian enclave earlier this week were the first under Israel’s new government headed by Naftali Bennett, whose ideologically disparate coalition on Sunday ousted long-serving prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Fighter jets attacked Hamas military complexes that served as camps and meeting places for terrorist operatives in the Khan Yunis and Gaza Brigades. Terrorist activity was clearly seen in the attacked compounds,” the IDF said in a statement. Read More

Canada’s Jews say antisemites declared ‘open season’ on them since Gaza conflict

The Times of Israel:  Last month’s armed conflict between Israel and Hamas set the stage for antisemites in Canada to unleash unprecedented, social media-fueled attacks — in-person and online — including physical violence, incitement, and harassment.

For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his Special treasure.”  psalm 135:4

The severity and frequency of incidents in the current wave are on a different level than in previous years. B’nai Brith reports the number of antisemitic assaults recorded in May of this year far surpassed the total for all of 2020.

Canada experienced a record 2,610 antisemitic incidents in 2020, according to a B’nai Brith Canada report — up 18.3 percent from the previous year.

At pro-Israel rallies in several cities Jews were physically assaulted, verbally abused, spat upon, and pelted with rocks. Elsewhere, their businesses and neighborhoods were targeted. At anti-Israeli protests, demonstrators donned swastikas, gave Nazi salutes, and burned Israeli flags.

By June 11, the ongoing attacks caused Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to announce he would convene an emergency summit this summer to address the crisis. The conference will be led by former justice minister Irwin Cotler, who is serving as Canada’s special envoy on preserving Holocaust remembrance and combatting antisemitism.

Biden Admin Asks Americans to Report ‘Potentially’ Radicalized Friends and Family

Breitbart: President Joe Biden’s administration announced their plans to create ways for Americans to report radicalized friends and family to the government, in an effort to fight domestic terrorism.

And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.” Matthew 24:10

In a conversation with reporters, one senior administration official explained the importance of stopping politically fueled violence before it started.

“We will work to improve public awareness of federal resources to address concerning or threatening behavior before violence occurs,” the official said.

The official cited the Department of Homeland Security’s “If you see something say something” campaign to help stop radical Islamic terror as a domestic possibility.

“This involves creating contexts in which those who are family members or friends or co-workers know that there are pathways and avenues to raise concerns and seek help for those who they have perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence,” the official said.

Biden began his presidency with a stark warning in his inauguration speech about the “rise in political extremism, white supremacy, domestic terrorism that we must confront and we will defeat.” On June 1, Biden described the threat from “white supremacy” as the “most lethal threat to the homeland today.” Read More

IDF strikes Syrian army outpost in Bennett government’s first action in north

IDF tank stationed near the Syrian border

YNet News: Israeli military on Thursday allegedly struck and destroyed a Syrian army outpost in the first action carried out on the northern border by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s government.

“For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You.” Psalm 83:5

Opposition groups in Syria reported that the attack took place near the Israel-Syria border in the Golan Heights. No casualties were reported.

According to the IDF, local Hezbollah officials were seen over the past month in the outpost located near the Syrian border town of Quneitra. The officials are among those who appear to be in charge of the terror group’s expansion in the region as part of its so-called “Golan Case.” Read More

The Fed moves up its timeline for rate hikes as inflation rises

CNBC: The Federal Reserve on Wednesday considerably raised its expectations for inflation this year and brought forward the time frame on when it will next raise interest rates.

However, the central bank gave no indication as to when it will begin cutting back on its aggressive bond-buying program, though Fed Chairman Jerome Powell acknowledged that officials discussed the issue at the meeting.

“You can think of this meeting that we had as the ‘talking about talking about’ meeting,” Powell said in a phrase that recalled a statement he made a year ago that the Fed wasn’t “thinking about thinking about raising rates.”

As expected, the policymaking Federal Open Market Committee unanimously left its benchmark short-term borrowing rate anchored near zero. Read More

Biden Ignites Firestorm Over What He Told Putin On Cyberattacks: ‘One Of The Most Pathetic Moments’ In U.S. ‘Diplomatic History’

Breitbart: Democrat President Joe Biden ignited a firestorm on Wednesday over remarks that he made to Russian President Vladimir Putin in response to recent cyberattacks that have hamstrung critical U.S. infrastructure.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice;
But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2

“Another area we spent a great deal of time on was cyber and cybersecurity,” Biden said. “I talked about the proposition that certain critical infrastructure should be off limits to attack — period — by cyber or any other means. I gave them a list, if I’m not mistaken — I don’t have it in front of me — 16 specific entities; 16 defined as critical infrastructure under U.S. policy, from the energy sector to our water systems.”

Biden’s remarks drew immediate scorn across the political spectrum for obvious reasons.

“I’m very confused about this. 16 entities that are ‘off-limits’ for attack, as opposed to others that aren’t?” Atlantic Council Director Benjamin Haddad wrote. “What does this mean?” Read More
