Israel 365: An alarming trend of anti-Israel-related, antisemitic incidents is occurring in Canada with incidents being recorded daily.

In one of the most egregious public displays of antisemitism, Dr. Munir El-Kassem linked the recent vehicle attack that killed four members of a Muslim family in London Ontario on Sunday, June 6, to the Canadian government’s pro-Israel foreign policy.

El-Kassem was asked to give the closing remarks at a two-hour vigil June 8 for the victims, an event in which Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau participated. Read More …

Opinion: Psalm 2:1-3, a Psalm of David written 3000 years ago asks a question that still reverberates today.

“Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”

The king is amazed by the plans of the nations to overthrow the Lord and His anointed, Christ Messiah.

  • Verse 1 asks a rhetorical question: Will the nations plot something that is designed to fail?
  • Verse 2 asks, are earthly kings actually plotting something against God?
  • Verse 3 expresses their desire to be free of God

God chose Abraham as a treasured possession:

Exodus 19:5-6 “Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.”

God intended for them to be separate from the nations:

Numbers 23:9 “For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: see, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.”

There was nothing to commend about the Israelites:

Deuteronomy 7:7-8 “The Lord did not set His affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath He swore to your ancestors that He brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.”

King David confirms Israel is chosen as a people group:

2 Samuel 7:23 “And who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people, to make for Himself a name …”

When the nations attack the Jewish people they attack God:

King Louis XIV asked Voltaire “What is the best evidence for the existence of God?”

His answer was, “Sire, the Jews.”

God haters left behind after the church is taken up (1 Thess. 4:16-17) will pay a price (Matthew 24:30).
