THOUSANDS OF ISRAELIS MOBILIZE TO ESTABLISH NEW TOWNS ACROSS JUDEA-SAMARIA
Israeli police, along with the IDF, could not prevent the approximately 10,000 Jewish Israelis from setting up six new Jewish communities in Judea-Samaria on Wednesday.

The pioneers, who consisted of mostly teenagers and young adults, camped out in tent villages across Judea and Samaria in an effort to eventually turn those campsites into permanent towns and villages. The initiative by the Nachala (inheritance) is part of a greater cause to assert sovereignty over the Land of Israel and prevent creeping Arab land grabs.
Nachalah chief Tzvi Elimelech reminded the pioneers in a rally that the entire land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people, including cities currently occupied by the “Palestinian” Authority. “Jenin is ours, Ramallah is ours, and the nation of Israel will settle the entire land in the end.
Police officers arrested five pioneers and injured several during the excessively violent evacuation of one of the settlements.
One of the youth was hit in the head with the butt of a rifle by the evacuating forces.
Knesset Member Itamar Ben Gvir visited the tent villages providing them with food and water.

US pressured Israel to open airport to Palestinian Authority Arabs
The US pressured Israel to open Ben Gurion International Airport to Palestinian Authority (PA) Arabs – and the agreement to allow them to use Ramon Airport was a compromise between the sides, Israel Hayom reported.
According to Israel Hayom, ahead of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Israel, and as part of Biden’s desire to present Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas with achievements, the US government pressured Israel to solve the issue of PA Arabs’ travel abroad.
Currently, PA Arabs are not allowed to fly from Ben Gurion Airport, and they instead cross from Israel into Jordan via the Allenby Bridge, and from there fly to their destinations. Since the coronavirus pandemic, the Allenby Bridge has been overwhelmed with traffic: It is estimated that over a million people have crossed it since January, and in many cases it is congested and there are lengthy delays.

Last week, Transportation Minister Merav Michaeli (Labor) announced that brokering by Morocco and the US led to understandings with the Palestinian Authority regarding expanding operations of the bridge to 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so as to help ease the congestion.
At the same time, the expanded hours provide only a partial solution: Israel Hayom reported that the US aimed to reach an agreement under which Israel would open Ben Gurion to PA Arabs, and it seems that the agreement to allow them to fly out of Ramon Airport is a compromised reached by the two sides.

Pope Francis is asking young people to eat less meat in a bid to take better care of the environment.
In a letter to participants at the EU Youth Conference in Prague this week, the Pope urged that we “break this self-destructive trend” of consumerism and prioritise sustainability.
“It is urgent to reduce consumption not only of fossil fuels but also of many superfluous things; and also, in certain areas of the world, it is convenient to consume less meat, this can also help save the environment,” he wrote.
“He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.” Rev. 13:15
The Pope is clearly worried about climate change
The latest green pledge follows the Pope’s publication of ‘Laudato si’ in 2015, his second encyclical (letter) which laments environmental degradation and global warming, and calls all people of the world to take “swift and unified global action.”
He lays the foundations for what he calls “integral ecology” in the encyclical. This earned him the title of Person of the Year by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) the same year
In October 2021, Pope Francis and religious leaders called for action on climate change at the UN COP26 conference. Although the 84-year-old could not attend the conference, he made his dedication to tackling the climate crisis clear.
