The British government is surging hundreds of soldiers back into Afghanistan, ostensibly to help evacuate some 4,000 people with British citizenship who are still in the Islamic republic.
Taliban fighters have rapidly conquered vast swathes of the South Asian country, including multiple provincial capitals and the historic capital of Kandahar, since the Western powers began withdrawing in earnest — a collapse which seems to have surprised London and Washington D.C. with its speed and scale.
“A fool’s lips walk into a fight, and his mouth invites a beating.” Proverbs 18:6 ESV
“I have authorised the deployment of additional military personnel to support the diplomatic presence in Kabul, assist British nationals to leave the country and support the relocation of former Afghan staff who risked their lives serving alongside us,” the British Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace, has announced in response to the disaster.
“The security of British nationals, British military personnel and former Afghan staff is our first priority. We must do everything we can to ensure their safety,” he added.
Just days ago U.S. President Joe Biden said the Western-backed regime in Kabul have “got to fight for themselves, fight for their nation,”
Protests are erupting in cities across Europe in response to government efforts to impose so-called Covid passports, documents that show proof of immunization against Covid-19. The passports, which effectively reward the vaccinated and punish the unvaccinated, have sparked a heated debate over the constitutionality of government attempts to force people to get vaccinated.
“It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, For a throne is established by righteousness.” Proverbs 16:12
In the last two weeks alone, hundreds of thousands of people of all political persuasions have gathered in at least 300 European cities to protest government overreach and to defend civil liberties. So far, the protests have not had the intended effect of reversing government policies, but they have highlighted that Europeans are thoroughly divided on the issue of Covid vaccines.
Some governments have tried to discredit the protesters by describing them as “anti-vaxxers,” “negationists,” “Covid deniers” — and much worse. Judging from the large number of banners with the words “Liberty” and “Freedom” that have been present at the events, it seems safe to conclude that many if not most of the marchers simply want freedom of choice. Many appear concerned that governments will use the current Covid-19 restrictions as a precedent to restrict other freedoms in the future.
Critics of the Covid passports say that they are being used by governments to compel vaccination at a time when immunization efforts in many European countries have stalled, presumably due to public apprehension about the unknown risks of Covid vaccines. Read More
In another example of how Big Tech supremacy hurts the freedoms of the American people, Amazon signed the contract “WildandStormy” to provide cloud computing services for the spying monolith that has made a mockery of the 4th Amendment.
“Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.” Psalm 91:3
Microsoft is filing a protest on the contract, believing that it was awarded unfairly to Amazon, a company that has proven it will serve the deep state at every turn.
“We are exercising our legal rights and will do so carefully and responsibly,” they added
Amazon received a $600 million contract to provide cloud computing services for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 2013. They soaked up a good portion of the follow-up deal for the CIA’s C2E contract in 2020, which was worth billions. They have deployed litigation to keep their main competitor Microsoft from lucrative federal contracts as well.
“[The NSA’s award] just reiterates that Amazon is still the cloud provider to beat across the federal government. Read More
Breitbart: The embattled Loudoun County School Board voted 7-2 on Wednesday to approve transgender guidelines that will give students who believe they are the opposite sex access to school facilities, groups, and sports teams of their biological counterparts.
The new guidelines, which take effect immediately, also mandate that teachers address their transgender students by their preferred names and pronouns, according to a report by the Washington Post
“Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves” Romans 1:24
“Tonight’s a difficult night for our community,” said conservative school board member Jeff Morse, who voted against the transgender policies, which he called “divisive, anti-family, anti-privacy,” and “anti-teacher.”
“It’s so unneeded,” Morse added. “Because if you are a [Loudoun] student today you are protected from bullying, harassment and abuse.” Read More
New York Post: The Biden administration said Thursday it’s sending troops to Kabul to help evacuate US Embassy staff amid rapid Taliban gains in Afghanistan.
US officials believe the Taliban could retake Kabul within months of President Biden’s Aug. 31 deadline for removing most US troops from Afghanistan, though Biden insists that’s not inevitable.
“And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them” Rev. 9:16 KJV
“We are further reducing our civilian footprint in Kabul … to a core diplomatic presence in the coming weeks,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said at a press briefing.
Price would not specify how many people will be evacuated or how many troops are participating in that mission.
The Wall Street Journal reports that thousands among the 5,000 US civilian and military personnel at the embassy and nearby international airport will leave Afghanistan. Read More

KABUL: The Taliban were in control of six Afghan provincial capitals on Tuesday after a blitz across the north that forced tens of thousands of people to flee their homes for the relative safety of Kabul and other centers.
“Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. Rev. 16:12
The insurgents now have their eyes on Mazar-i-Sharif, the biggest city in the north, whose fall would signal the total collapse of government control in a region that has traditionally been anti-Taliban.
Government forces are also battling the hard-line Islamists in Kandahar and Helmand, the southern Pashto-speaking provinces from where the Taliban draw their strength. Read More
Daily Wire: On Wednesday, reacting to the news that the Biden administration was pleading with OPEC to increase production while the administration has targeted American oil and gas companies, Rep. Dan Crenshaw fired that the Biden administration had reached a “whole new level of stupid,” adding it was “not just stupid, but anti-American.”
“When the righteous [a]are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2
Crenshaw tweeted, “Reaching a whole new level of stupid, the Biden administration asks OPEC (foreign oil) to increase production while making every possible attempt to destroy CLEANER American oil and gas. Not just stupid, but anti-American.”
In January, Crenshaw slammed John Kerry for suggesting that workers losing their jobs in the fossil fuel industry could transition to jobs in clean energy. He tweeted, “John Kerry — worth hundreds of millions — telling blue-collar workers to just ‘go to work to make the solar panels.’ By the way, solar will pay on average $20K less than oil and gas jobs. John Kerry thinks you should just shutup and accept it. No.”
Zero Hedge: The CDC has been forced to “adjust” its Covid-19 case tracker for Florida after the state’s health department took to Twitter earlier this week to call out incorrect data.
“And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.” Matthew 24:4
Florida’s health department called out the incorrect CDC information publicly, stating earlier this week: “Wrong again. The number of cases @CDCgov released for Florida today is incorrect. They combined MULTIPLE days into one. We anticipate CDC will correct the record.”
The CDC had reported 28,317 new Covid cases on Sunday, but had “adjusted” the number to 19,584 cases by Tuesday, the report says. Florida’s health department claimed that there were 15,319 cases on Sunday a number that is almost 50% lower than the CDC’s originally reported number.
“On Tuesday, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported the state has surpassed 20,000 for its 7-day average of new cases, a day after the federal agency misreported numbers given by the Florida Department of Health by combining data from the last three days into two,” Fox reported on Wednesday, after first pointing out the data discrepancy earlier in the week.
JNS: U..S. administration officials have worked to delay a bill proposed by Knesset member Nir Barkat (Likud) which, if passed into law, would essentially prevent the reopening of a de facto U.S. embassy to the Palestinians in Jerusalem.
The bill seeks to ban any country from establishing a diplomatic mission in Jerusalem that is not a mission to Israel. The bill further specifies that any mission established to provide consular services specifically to Jerusalem residents will require special permission from the Israeli government.
“I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you …” Genesis 12:3
Barkat, who in July met with several Republican and Democratic congressmen and senators in Washington to explain the dangers of such a move, told Israel Hayom:
“The act of establishing a Palestinian consulate in Jerusalem means recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine. The administration’s consent on this matter is disastrous. I intend to aggressively fight this dangerous decision. It is a red line that cannot be crossed. Jerusalem will remain the capital of unified Jerusalem for all eternity.” Read More
