Now 23 STATES have rejected Joe’s handouts

Daily Wire:

  • Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced this week he would opt out of Biden’s boosted unemployment benefits
  • ‘Transitioning away from this benefit will help meet the demands of small and large businesses who are ready to hire and expand their workforce,’ Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity Secretary Dane Eagle said

“The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.” Proverbs 23:4 ESV

  • The new announcement makes 23 Republican-run states that won’t accept the $300 weekly payment from federal government to their jobless constituents
  • Governors say money is disincentivizing people to get a job when they can make the same collecting benefits
  • Experts claim those who made $32,000 before the pandemic can now make the same – or more – with combined benefits from state and federal government, encouraging people to stay home
  • ‘Our economy has come back, we have jobs aplenty,’ Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson said. ‘We cannot pay extra compensations for workers to stay home’
  • President Joe Biden said in remarks earlier in May he did not ‘see much evidence’ the benefit encouraged people to stay unemployed

Republican governors from 23 states are ending $300 per week unemployment benefits from President Joe Biden in an effort to encourage citizens to return to the workforce. Islamic nations ask UN to form unprecedented permanent panel to critique Israel

The Times of Israel: Member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation are calling on the UN Human Rights Council to set up a permanent commission to report on human rights violations in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.” Psalm 122:6 KJV

The move comes in the wake of the latest surge in violence in the Israel-Palestinians conflict. If passed, it would mark an unprecedented level of scrutiny authorized by the UN’s top human rights body.

The proposal comes ahead of a special session of the Geneva-based council tomorrow to address “the grave human rights situation” in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The meeting was sought by Pakistan, as the OIC’s coordinator.

A vote on the draft resolution is likely at the end of Thursday’s session, which will be largely virtual. Read More

Netanyahu blasts Iran deal in front of Biden’s secretary of state

WND: Many analysts have pointed to President Biden’s effort to reenter the Iran nuclear deal as one of a number of policy moves that precipitated the 11 days of attacks on Israeli civilians by Hamas with rockets financed by Tehran.

If there was any doubt that Israel opposes the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with the Islamic regime, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu put it to rest Tuesday in the presence of Biden’s secretary of state.

Many analysts have pointed to President Biden’s effort to reenter the Iran nuclear deal as one of a number of policy moves that precipitated the 11 days of attacks on Israeli civilians by Hamas with rockets financed by Tehran.

If there was any doubt that Israel opposes the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with the Islamic regime, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu put it to rest Tuesday in the presence of Biden’s secretary of state.

“And I can tell you that I hope that the United States will not go back to the old JCPOA because we believe that that deal paves the way for Iran to have an arsenal of nuclear weapons with international legitimacy,” Netanyahu said. Read More

Biden Slams U.S. Miners With Critical Metals Decision

Oil Price: The Biden Administration plans to source the key metals for electric vehicles from allies outside America and focus on processing those materials in the United States, officials told Reuters in what could be a blow to U.S. miners and a move to appease environmentalists.

The U.S. Administration is keen to progress electrification and significantly increased use of EVs as part of its plans to curb emissions and fight climate change. However, in doing so, the Biden Administration is more likely to focus on job creation in the processing of the raw materials for EVs, rather than on sourcing those critical metals with more permits for mining in the United States, the Reuters sources with direct knowledge of the plans said.

Earlier this year, President Joe Biden said he planned to replace the whole federal vehicle fleet with electric cars, creating one million jobs in the process. Jobs aside, we’re talking about more than 600,000 cars that will be replaced with EVs.

US STATE DEPT: HAMAS MAY USE “HUMANITARIAN” FUNDS FOR BUYING ROCKETS AGAINST ISRAEL

Israel 365: As Secretary of State Anthony Blinken meets with Netanyahu this week to discuss the recent hostilities between Gaza and Israel, a White House report cited a senior State Department official as admitting that the humanitarian aid President Biden pledged to help rebuild Gaza might end up being usurped by Hamas for use in terrorism and rockets targeting Israel. The unnamed official was asked in a press briefing: “How can the U.S. guarantee aid to Gaza won’t be diverted toward replenishing the Hamas arsenal?”

“We’re going to be working in partnership with the United Nations and the Palestinian Authority to kind of channel aid there in a manner that does its best to go to the people of Gaza,” the official said, according to a White House transcript. “I’m also sure that the government of Egypt will have some role in that.”

“As we’ve seen in life, as we all know in life, there are no guarantees, but we’re going to do everything that we can to ensure that this assistance reaches the people who need it the most,” the official added.

Last week, President Biden promised to proved aid to help rebuild Gaza after the IDF responded to Hamas rockets targeting Israeli cities, resulting in massive destruction. Read More

Study: Only 6% Of Americans Follow a Biblical Worldview

Harbingers Daily:

According to a new study led by the noted Christian pollster George Barna, only 6% of Americans adhere to a Biblical worldview, while 88% borrow from multiple and sometimes contradictory worldviews in order to form their beliefs and habits.

The American Worldview Inventory 2021, conducted in February—among a representative sample of 2,000 adults by Barna and the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University— found the most prevalent belief system for Americans is “syncretism,” a “cut-and-paste approach to making sense of, and responding to, life.”

The study compared seven worldviews: Biblical theism (or Biblical worldview); secular humanism; postmodernism; moralistic therapeutic deism; nihilism; Marxism (along with critical race theory); and Eastern mysticism (or New Age).

US submarines detect mysterious speeding crafts underwater ahead of Pentagon UFO report

UK Express: The US Navy has picked up sonar data showing mysterious fast-moving objects underwater that cannot be explained by experts or current technology. Washington Examiner’s Tom Rogan said that US Navy “has the data” to prove the bizarre encounters. Some of these encounters could be included in the US Government task force which is preparing to brief Congress on its UFO findings next month.

Opinion: The Palestinian Voices Blinken Won’t Hear

Blinken needs to go out and talk to ordinary Palestinians. There, he will get a good grasp of the Palestinians’ profound anti-Israel sentiments and their deep support for Iran’s proxies and others who wish to wipe Israel off the map.

United With Israel: On the eve of his first official visit to the Middle East, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken reaffirmed support for a two-state solution as the only way to provide hope to Israelis and Palestinians that they can live “with equal measures of security, of peace, and dignity.”

“And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.” KJV

During his visit to Israel and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria), Blinken is expected to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who has been urging the Biden administration to work toward “achieving a just and lasting peace that would ensure the Palestinian people’s right to freedom and independence” and the establishment of a Palestinian state with eastern Jerusalem as its capital.

The renewed talk about a “two-state solution” comes amid a significant increase in the popularity of Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group whose charter openly calls for replacing Israel with an Islamic state. It also comes at a time when Abbas’s popularity is at its lowest ebb.
