Biden’s Stimulus Will Cut Poverty By 40%… For One Year

Zero Hedge: The NY Times also jumped on Biden’s stimulus package to tout how “transformative” Biden will be to the U.S. economy.

The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.” Proverbs 22:7

“The list of new policies goes on. There is money in the American Rescue Plan to expand food stamps, bolster state welfare programs, and increase federal support for child and dependent care. Put all this together and the bill is expected to reduce overall poverty by more than a third and child poverty by more than half. It is, with no exaggeration, the single most important piece of anti-poverty legislation since Lyndon B. Johnson’s Great Society, itself the signature program of a man who sought to emulate F.D.R.”

Here’s the problem. Unlike the New Deal, which benefitted the economy for decades, the American Rescue Plan will only help the poor for one year. As is always the case with such socialistic policies, they sound great in theory, but they rarely work as expected in reality. Read More

Cardinal Burke: Blowback to ban on same-sex blessings reveals ‘aggressive, homosexual agenda’ within Church

LifeSite News: Cardinal Raymond Burke said that defiance to the Vatican’s “no” to blessings for homosexual couples by various priests and bishops from different parts of the world — and even suggestions that the Pope did not approve of it — make it necessary for the Holy See to state clearly that Pope Francis approved the declaration and he stands by it.

“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” Leviticus 18:22

“The blowback is simply an expression of a worldliness, a mundanity, which has entered into the Church by which the aggressive homosexual agenda is now dominating even in certain ecclesial circles and even among certain bishops,” the Cardinal, who is the former head of the Vatican’s highest court and one of the world’s foremost canon lawyers, told EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo last week.

Earlier this month, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith issued a decree stating that the Catholic Church does not have the “power to give the blessing to unions of persons of the same sex.” Pope Francis “was informed and gave his assent to the publication” of the decree, according to the CDF document.

The Congregation stated that it is “not licit to impart a blessing on relationships, or partnerships, even stable, that involve sexual activity outside of marriage (i.e., outside the indissoluble union of a man and a woman open in itself to the transmission of life), as is the case of the unions between persons of the same sex.”

God “does not and cannot bless sin,” the decree stated.

Vatican observers speculated that Pope Francis was distancing himself from the CDF decree. Read More

The Invisible War

Jewish Press: Area C had very few Arab residents, and contains virtually all of the Jewish communities outside the 1949 armistice lines. Although President Trump’s “Deal of the Century” encouraged Israel to extend Israeli law to much of this area, it did not happen – to a great extent because of the chaos brought about by successive elections, and PM Netanyahu’s preoccupation with his legal problems.

“I will also gather all nations,
And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat;
And I will enter into judgment with them there
On account of My people, My heritage Israel,
Whom they have scattered among the nations: Joel 3:2

Palestinians and their supporters typically falsely accuse Israel of precisely the evil intentions that they themselves hold toward us, and this is no exception. One hears no end of talk of “creeping annexation,” in which Jewish settlements are said to be inexorably capturing “Palestinian land,” while Israel torpedoes attempts to reach a negotiated settlement to end “the occupation.”

But the reality is precisely the opposite: the Palestinian Arabs are increasingly appropriating land and building illegal settlements in Area C. Read More

Tax increases to be paying for Biden’s $2.25 trillion infrastructure plan – White House

Forex.com:

  • 620 billion to be dedicated to transportation
  • $650 billion to be used for initiatives to improve quality of life at home
  • $580 billion to strengthen US manufacturing, research and development
  • $400 billion to address improved care for the elderly, people with disabilities
  • Tax increases to “fully pay for the investments in this plan over the next 15 years”
  • Proposes US corporate tax rate to go up to 28% from 21%

As a reminder, Republicans slashed the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% back in 2017 so even the “hike” here isn’t as heavy; it is likely to be watered down surely. Read More

For First Time Ever: Majority of Americans Don’t Belong to a Church or other House of Worship

The Blaze: Churchgoing citizens are now a minority demographic in the United States.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [a]sin is revealed, the son of perdition.” 2 Thess. 2:7

The percentage of Americans who belong to a house of worship such as a church, synagogue, or mosque dipped below 50% for the first time ever, according to a survey released by Gallup.

The new survey, published on Monday, found that only 47% of Americans reported membership in a place of worship in 2020, continuing a sharp downward trend that began at the turn of the 21st century. Read More

Ron DeSantis Shoots Down the Idea of Vaccine Passports and His Reasoning Is Pitch Perfect

PJ Media: Today, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a press conference after signing a bill to protect businesses from liability related to COVID-19.

When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice;
when the wicked rule, the people groan.Proverbs 29:2

DeSantis also said he would be taking executive action to prohibit vaccine passports in the state of Florida. He stated his position clearly:

We are not supporting doing any vaccine passports in the state of Florida. No one was more aggressive about getting this out. If you look at all the different points throughout Florida, whether it’s a hospital, county health department, a retail pharmacy, a drive-through site, church sites, all this stuff, it’s important. But we’ve always said we want to provide it for all but mandate it for none. Now, with something that while it was advised to take, particularly if you’re vulnerable, we were not going to force you to do it. So, there was never under discussion any mandates to take vaccines. We will not have COVID vaccines mandatory in Florida.

The flip side of that, though, with these vaccine passports, it’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society. You want to go to a movie theater, should you have to show that? No. You want to go to a game? No. You want to go to a theme park? No.

So, we’re not supportive of that. I think it’s something that people have certain freedoms and individual liberties to make decisions for themselves. I also wonder it’s like, okay. You’re going to do this and then what? Give all this information to some big corporation? You want the fox to guard the henhouse? I mean, give me a break. Read More

US to offer Iran new nuclear deal, sanctions relief this week

JPost: The United States is trying to break the nuclear deadlock with Iran and is planning a new proposal that would include some sanctions relief for the Islamic Republic, according to a report in Politico.

“You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.” Ezekiel 38:9

Biden administration officials plan to put forth a new proposal to restart nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran as soon as this week, two people familiar with the situation told Politico.

According to the report, the American proposal would ask Iran to stop some of its nuclear activities, such as work on advanced centrifuges and the enrichment of uranium to 20 percent purity, in exchange for some relief from US economic sanctions, said one of Politico’s two sources.
However, the details of this potential deal are still being worked out by the US and it’s not at all certain that Iran will accept the terms. Indeed, Tehran rejected a US proposal earlier this year, saying it was “unacceptable”, countering with their own idea, which the Biden team declared a non-starter. Read More

Consumer Confidence Highest In A Year

Talk markets: The headline number of 109.7 was an increase of 19.3 from the final reading of 90.4 for February. This was above the Investing.com consensus of 96.9.

” …You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” Haggai 1:6

“Consumer Confidence increased to its highest level since the onset of the pandemic in March 2020,” said Lynn Franco, Senior Director of Economic Indicators at The Conference Board. “Consumers’ assessment of current conditions and their short-term outlook improved significantly, an indication that economic growth is likely to strengthen further in the coming months. Consumers’ renewed optimism boosted their purchasing intentions for homes, autos and several big-ticket items.

However, concerns of inflation in the short-term rose, most likely due to rising prices at the pump, and may temper spending intentions in the months ahead.” Read more

Bolstered By Chinese $400 Billion Deal, Iran Won’t Stop Enriching Uranium Until Biden Drops Every Last Sanction

Jewish Press: A senior Iranian official said on Monday that his government would not stop its 20% uranium enrichment before all the US sanctions are lifted.

“You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.” Ezekiel 39:4

Speaking on state-run Iranian Press TV, the official said that the “20% uranium enrichment is in line with Paragraph 36 of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action – the 2015 nuclear agreement) and will be stopped only if the US lifts all the sanctions.” We’ll cover that point a few paragraphs down.

China's foreign minister may visit Japan as early as October | The Japan Times

Meanwhile, on Saturday, China signed a sweeping economic and security agreement with Iran, which includes investing $400 billion over 25 years in exchange for Iranian oil. Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi told President Hassan Rouhani that “China firmly supports Iran in safeguarding its state sovereignty and national dignity,” adding that the United States must immediately drop its sanctions on Iran and “remove its long arm of jurisdictional measures that have been aimed at China, among others.”

At this point, Iran has no incentive to return to the JCPOA unless the US surrenders every last sanction against its economy. Read More

Sex-selective abortion kills baby girls, but feminist leaders insist abortion is a social necessity

LifeSite News: It is one of modern feminism’s many twisted ironies that abortion, championed as the essential key to women’s liberation, is predominantly used to kill females because they are female. More than 100 million baby girls are missing worldwide, most of them the victims of feticide. China’s population suffers a staggering shortage of women because the One Child Policy and a cultural preference for sons has resulted in untold carnage in the womb for baby girls — and those who survive are often murdered through infanticide.

Did not He who made me in the womb make them?
Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?” Job 31:15

In Canada, some cultural communities prefer boys — and people are happy to avail themselves of Canada’s feminist feticide services to rid themselves of unwanted girls. Just this month, CityNews published another exposé on sex-selective abortion in Canada.

According to the British Medical Journal this month, sex selective abortion is a growing problem in Nepal, as well. Examining census data from 2011 to 2016, several social scientists believe that the rate of missing girls who had been killed through abortion between 2006 and 2011 was one in fifty, or roughly 22,540, and that the numbers have been rising steadily.

As in many other cultures, boys are preferred to girls for financial reasons, with girls seen as a financial drain due to the necessity of paying a dowry and the likelihood of them “leaving the family” upon marriage, while boys are seen as an economic investment. Read More
