Communists Pack Tiananmen Square, Site of Historic Massacre, on 100th Anniversary

Breitbart: The Chinese Communist Party (CCP or CPC) packed Tiananmen Square with celebrants Wednesday to hear a speech from President Xi Jinping on the 100th anniversary of the Party’s founding.

Of course, no mention was made of the atrocity perpetrated by the communists in that same location on June 4, 1989, when Chinese troops slaughtered thousands of student demonstrators.

Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.” Rev. 16:12

China’s state-run Global Times said the square was filled with “cheers and applause” and “genuine joy” during Xi’s belligerent speech, a hardcore nationalist stemwinder that hailed the Communist Party as too powerful to be restrained by any alliance of free nations or international human rights organization.

130 nations agree to support U.S. proposal for global minimum tax on corporations – Ireland Refuses

Zero Hedge: Irish Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe (the current head of the Eurogroup assemblage of EU finance ministers) just issued a terse statement claiming that while Ireland supports the aims of the OECD’s tax reform, it’s wary of the 15% minimum global tax rate.

“And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.” Luke 3:12 KJV

130 nations, including China & India have signed the 15% global minimum tax plan sponsored by the US and OECD Except Ireland Ireland is smart to defend her advantage over China as a gateway to Europe I am shocked any African Nation and UK will agree to 15% tax on FDI

Image

Update (1224ET): In a rare scoop, the Irish Times just reported that Ireland was one of nine countries that didn’t sign on to the global corporate tax deal that was reportedly struck Thursday afternoon in Paris following weeks of negotiations. Ultimately, 130 countries signed on, while the remaining nine countries – including Ireland – refused (the OECD has 139 members in total).

As we have reported, the Irish government has long been wary of the new framework. The Irish Department of Finance even calculated that agreeing to it would cost the country some  €2 billion in annual tax revenue as it would lose its advantageous 12.5% minimum corporate rate.

With the lowest corporate tax rate in Western Europe, Ireland’s participation in the deal is critical. If Dublin refuses to lower its corporate rate, it could create serious problems for the countries that agree to its terms, since Ireland won’t be bound by the 15% minimum rate that’s reportedly part of the deal. 5,000 Burgers Per Day: World’s First Mega Lab-Grown Meat Factory Opens

Zero Hedge: The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) The Great Reset plan includes a complete transformation of the global food and agricultural industries and the dieting of humans. The architects behind this plan are preparing for a meatless society with the introduction of cell-based, slaughter-free meat.

Before this decade is over, we’re all going to be eating some form of slaughter-free meat, including chicken, pork and lamb, and beef. The point of all this is to generate fewer greenhouse emissions at cattle farms, use less land for farming, and reduce the use of freshwater and grains for the traditional process of growing livestock.

The aim is for a sustainable future, and already we’ve noted a few companies producing cell-based, slaughter-free meat. However, these facilities are operating at limited output as it is costly to produce fake meat.

That’s where Future Meat Technologies of Israel comes into play with their brand new facility able to pump out 500 kilograms (1,102 pounds) of cultured meat products per day, or the equivalence about 5,000 hamburgers per day.

“This facility opening marks a huge step in Future Meat Technologies’ path to market, serving as a critical enabler to bring our products to shelves by 2022,” said Rom Kshuk, CEO of Future Meat Technologies. “Having a running industrial line accelerates key processes such as regulation and product development.”

Kshuk said the facility produces cultured chicken, pork, and lamb products, and beef production will be coming online soon. Read More

McCarthy To Introduce Bill Replenishing Israel’s Iron Dome While Democrats Deal With Omar’s Anti-Semitic Outburst

Daily Wire: House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) will introduce a bill on Thursday to replenish Israel’s Iron Dome missiles after reports from earlier this month indicated that Israel was set to request $1 billion from the Biden administration.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” Matthew 7:19

McCarthy will make a unanimous consent request that would provide the requested $1 billion in assistance and ensure the Iron Dome is ready when called upon again. Israel used thousands of missiles in May while defending itself against Palestinian terrorist attacks.

The move to fund Israel’s Iron Dome comes as Democrats have had to again deal with another anti-Semitic outburst from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) this week.

Omar said during an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper that she did not regret comparing the U.S. and Israel to terrorist organizations, and then she lashed out at Jewish lawmakers. Read More

The 3 trends putting pressure on companies to begin ESG Governance reporting

CNBC: For public companies that haven’t yet committed to ESG reporting, it can be hard to know where to start. But the increasing pressure to participate—from regulators, politicians and investors— should leave no question about when to start: If you aren’t reporting ESG metrics yet, you are already behind.

A new report by the Nasdaq ESG Advisory Practice captures research on the ESG reporting trends of 800 leading global companies.

“Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with its feet.” Daniel 7:19

“The right time to start ESG reporting was yesterday” says Meagan Tenety, Senior Lead ESG Advisor at Nasdaq, who lead the report. “Today, if you don’t already have something in place either from a regulatory or shareholder’s perspective, you are at risk of being left behind.” The risk is particularly acute for small- and mid-cap companies, Tenety says. “We’re seeing a dearth in disclosure among a lot of companies under a $10 billion market cap.

If these companies grow a little bit over the next couple of years, they could be in rough waters, particularly with investors. Read More

Biden’s promise on Iranian nukes is worthless

JNS: Outgoing Israeli President Reuven Rivlin met with U.S. President Joe Biden in Washington this week and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid met with Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Rome. The theme of both meetings as far as the Israelis were concerned was happiness with the Biden administration.

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:3 KJV

As far as Rivlin and Lapid are concerned, any problems facing the alliance were the fault of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom both men despise despite coming from different ends of the Israeli political spectrum. Lapid went out of his way to declare that “mistakes were made” by Netanyahu, whose policies toward Democrats he described as “shameful and dangerous.” Rivlin was equally eager to portray Biden as a reliable friend of Israel who should be taken at his word when he makes promises about protecting its security.

That’s exactly what the administration wants to hear even if the attempt to depict the Democrats as having been wronged by Netanyahu is inaccurate. After all, it was former President Barack Obama who undermined the alliance between the two democracies with his appeasement of Iran which Netanyahu was right to oppose. And castigating Netanyahu for embracing the historic tilt of the Trump administration and the Republicans toward Israel is equally senseless.

But dunking on Netanyahu isn’t the real objective of the current Israeli government no matter how much its members may enjoy it. Their goal is to use the change in power in Jerusalem to somehow reset relations with the U.S. Read More

State Dept. Says Passports Can Include Any Gender

Free Beacon: The State Department announced on Wednesday that it will allow passport applicants to choose any sex they prefer, even without medical documentation and if the gender selected does not match an individual’s other forms of identification.

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” NKJV

“U.S. passport applicants will now be able to select the gender they would like printed on their U.S. passports, even if the gender they select does not match the gender on their supporting documentation such as a birth certificate, previous passport, or state ID,” the State Department informed Congress on Tuesday night, before publicly announcing the policy change Wednesday. “The Department of State will no longer require medical certification to change the gender marker on U.S. passports.”

The State Department says it is now in the process of updating its computer systems to allow Americans to have their passports include a gender marker “for non-binary, intersex, and gender non-conforming persons,” according to the congressional notification.

The policy shift follows a massive pressure campaign by progressive activists who are seeking wholesale changes to how the American government identifies individuals on their state and federal IDs. The decision is facing pushback from some in Congress who say the State Department is already overwhelmed by a backlog of passport requests that have been held up since the coronavirus pandemic shut down global travel.

The State Department has updated its online passport portal to reflect the shift in policy.

This process of “adding a gender marker for non-binary, intersex, and gender non-conforming persons to these documents is complex and will take time for extensive updates to our information technology (IT) systems,” according to the State Department. “In the meantime, applicants cannot apply for a passport with a non-binary, intersex, or gender non-conforming gender marker.”

Transgender: White House to Denounce GOP Child-Protection Laws

Breitbart: White House officials will stage an event on Wednesday to denounce the popular state bills that are being passed to protect children and athletes from pro-transgender activists, teachers, and Democrats.

“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Mathew 18:6

The event will “highlight the hopes, joys, and success of young transgender and nonbinary people across America,” said a June 29 report from LGBTQnation.com.

“Panic Porn Dressed Up As Science” – Exposing The Truth About The Delta Variant

Zero Hedge: Equity futures are in the red Wednesday morning as Dr. Anthony Fauci’s warnings about the supposedly “dire threat” posed by the Delta variant continue to be dramatically amplified by the American media.

“The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.’ Psalm 36:3 KJV

On Wednesday, Bloomberg published the latest in a series of stories effectively re-stating the same facts: the vaccination rate in a handful of deep-red states has substantially lagged the rate in the rest of the country. The lead-in for Wednesday’s story was the fact that the gap between the most- and least-vaccinated states has continued to widen. Though even Bloomberg concedes that “on a national level, the news appears good…the country’s vaccination campaign is among the most successful in the world…”

Source: Bloomberg

One academic quoted in the Bloomberg story, Timothy Callaghan, who studies rural health at Texas A&M, warned that “we’re going to have counties where vaccination is rare and nowhere close to herd immunity, and others where it’s high. We could be headed toward a divided country of haves and have nots.”

They also warned that an analysis last week of COVID cases in 700 counties found that the new delta variant first identified in India (which, according to Bloomberg, is “far more contagious”) has been found more often in less-vaccinated US counties.

But is the Delta variant really “far more contagious” than earlier iterations of SARS-CoV-2?

In a recent piece published by the Blaze, writer Daniel Horowitz explains that the existing data suggests Delta isn’t any deadlier or more infectious than other strains. Horowitz described the warnings from epidemiologists and public health bureaucrats like Dr. Fauci as “panic porn dressed up as science.”  Read More
