CNN writer: ‘The world today needs a Hitler’

World Israel News: A CNN writer has been writing in praise of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. When the tweets came to light, he was let go by the news organization.

The writer, Adeel Raja, has 54 articles under his byline at CNN, according to one social media post. According to another, he has been on the CNN payroll since 2013.

Although he had made many pro-Hitler references in past tweets, it was one on Sunday that may have done him in. He tweeted: “The world today needs a Hitler”

During the 2014 FIFA World Cup, he wrote, “The only reason I am supporting Germany in the finals – Hitler was a German and he did good with those Jews!”

Daily Wire: Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) was recently connected to a Palestinian American activist who previously shared anti-Semitic posts on social media.

According to Fox News, Maher Abdel-qader, a Palestinian American activist who has put up anti-Semitic social media posts in the past, posted on Instagram in March about a virtual fundraiser attended by Tlaib. The event reportedly garnered donations between $100 and $5,000 for Sam Rasoul, a Palestinian American seeking to become Virginia’s next lieutenant governor.

Two weeks before the event, on March 7, Abdel-qader posted an image to Instagram comparing Israel to Nazi Germany.

The drawing, titled “Israel’s vision for a Palestinian state,” displayed a wall with barbed wire surrounding a small village with guns pointed inside from watchtowers. CNBC: The flagship cryptocurrency fell to more than three-month lows on Wednesday, dropping to about $30,000 at one point.

JPost: US President Joe Biden told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu he expects Israel to move towards a ceasefire with Hamas on Wednesday, but Netanyahu said Operation Guardian of the Walls will continue until Israeli citizens are secure.

Following a phone call between the leaders, the White house said that Biden “expected a significant de-escalation today (Yesterday) on the path to a ceasefire.”

“The two leaders had a detailed discussion on the state of events in Gaza, Israel’s progress in degrading the capabilities of Hamas and other terrorist elements, and ongoing diplomatic efforts by regional governments and the United States,” the White House readout stated.

Israel 365: After a cabinet meeting at the Presidential Complex in Ankara late Monday, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a media conference in which he called on the UN, UN Security Council, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and other international organizations to take action focusing on wrestling Jerusalem away from Israel.

“SEPARATE ARRANGEMENT ON JERUSALEM”

“At this point, we believe there’s a need for a separate arrangement on Jerusalem. To achieve lasting peace and tranquility in Jerusalem, which contains the indispensable religious symbols of Muslims, Jews, and Christians, everyone must make sacrifices,” Erdogan said.

“In today’s circumstances, it would be the most correct and consistent course of action for Jerusalem to be administered by a commission of representatives from the three faiths. Otherwise, it doesn’t appear it will be easily possible to achieve lasting peace in this ancient city,” he added.

Zero Hedge: In their second call in just a few days as the Gaza death toll soars amid unrelenting Israeli airstrikes, President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday that he expects a “significant de-escalation” in violence which can open a window for a ceasefire soon.

According to the White House call readout, the two leaders held “a detailed discussion on the state of events in Gaza, Israel’s progress in degrading the capabilities of Hamas and other terrorist elements, and ongoing diplomatic efforts by regional governments and the United States,” after which “The President conveyed to the Prime Minister that he expected a significant de-escalation today on the path to a ceasefire.”

It appears the building international pressure as well as domestic pressure from progressives within the Democratic party is belatedly pushing Biden to get firmer in his rhetoric. After ten days of fighting, Gaza’s Health Ministry has counted about 220 deaths, with about one-third of them children, with Israel saying 12 of its civilians have died due to Hamas rocket fire.

The chant relates to an event in the seventh century when Muslims massacred and expelled Jews from the town of Khaybar, located in modern-day Saudi Arabia. It is widely understood as a battle cry when attacking Jews. Read More

Biden Slammed Over Russian Nord Stream 2 Pipeline Report: Shaping Up To Be ‘Most Pro-Russia’ President

Daily Wire: President Joe Biden (D) faced intense backlash on Tuesday over a report that said that his administration was going to waive sanctions on a company and its CEO who are responsible for building Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline to Germany.

“The State Department will also acknowledge that the corporate entity in charge of the project (Nord Stream 2 AG) and its CEO (Putin crony and former East German intelligence officer Matthias Warnig) are engaged in sanctionable activities,” Axios reported. “However, the State Department will waive the applications of those sanctions, citing U.S. national interests.”

The report said that the Biden administration will instead sanction some Russian ships, even though experts told Axios that the way to stop the pipeline was to sanction the German end users of the gas.
