Rabbis urge Pelosi to remove Omar from House Foreign Affairs committee

Arutz Sheva: More than 200 rabbis are calling on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee and are accusing Omar of inciting attacks on American Jews, Fox News reported on Wednesday.

“We reiterate that the mob attacks on American Jews today are directly attributable to the rhetoric of Rep. Omar and those who stand with her within and beyond Congress,” the rabbis wrote in a letter sent to Pelosi and quoted by Fox News. “To protect Jewish Americans and, moreover, safeguard the integrity of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, we thus insist upon the removal of Rep. Omar from her appointment.”

“Rep. Omar’s unfounded assertion that Israel committed ‘unthinkable atrocities’ by defending lives against an openly genocidal terror organization is not merely offensive, it is pernicious – for it is grounded in the blood libel and the calumny that Jews poisoned wells during the Black Death,” the rabbis wrote. “Without anything resembling a forceful response from the Democratic Party, tolerance of anti-Jewish hatred has proliferated.” Read More

GOOGLE LABELS WEST JERUSALEM ‘CAPITAL OF PALESTINE’

Israel 365: A search on Google Maps on Sunday for “the capital of Palestine” turned up a location in the middle of Paris Square in downtown Jerusalem at 62 King George Street. Even more bizarre was the image that accompanied the “capital of Palestine”: an Arab woman holding up a flag in front of the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount, over two miles distant from Paris Square. The location is categorized as a “corporate office” and has even been reviewed. Private individuals can submit such locations and businesses to Google Maps but the company claims to review entries before posting to the site.

In addition to the image of the Temple Mount, the location is also tagged with an accurate street view and a bizarre and totally unrelated video clip of an impostor Superman speaking in English to a young child.

European Countries Debut Digital Covid Vaccine Passport

Daily Wire: The European Union on Monday capped the legislative process on the Covid-19 vaccine passports for international travel on the continent. The presidents of the EU Parliament, Council, and Commission signed the final official regulation to approve the use of the EU Digital Covid Certificate.

So far, a dozen countries are using the free mobile app, which uses a QR code to prove that a traveler has received a Covid-19 vaccine, recently tested negative for Covid-19, or has already caught and recovered from the virus. The certificate is supposed to exempt travelers who cross the border into another European country from restrictions like quarantine requirements.

An individual’s name, date of birth, and information about their vaccine status are stored on the certificate, but the personal information is not recorded permanently by countries the person visits.

Rents for single-family homes just saw the largest gains in nearly 15 years

CNBC: Even as the coronavirus pandemic ebbs and Americans get back to work and play, they still want more space at home. But with home prices hitting record highs, demand for single-family rental homes is soaring – and so are the rents.

Single-family rents were up 5.3% year over year in April, rising from a 2.4% increase in April 2020, according to CoreLogic. That is the largest gain in nearly 15 years.

Rents for single-family detached homes (not townhomes), were up an even stronger 7.9% compared with a year ago, as millennials in particular seek more outdoor space. Nearly half of millennials surveyed by Corelogic, and 64% of baby boomers, said they, “strongly prefer” to live in a single, stand-alone home. Read More

Busted: Houston Methodist Hospital Orders Staff Withhold Adverse Reactions by Covid Vaccines from Official Records

Stillness in the Storm: Jennifer Bridges, a nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital, has come forward with more information about her employer’s criminal attempts at suppressing the truth about the dangers of Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines.

Bridges told Del Bigtree during a recent episode of The Highwire that she and her coworkers at Houston Methodist are now forbidden from logging any adverse reactions to Chinese Virus injections on the company’s official records.

“Every time a nurse or another employee comes out with an adverse reaction, they basically tell them in the ER … ‘No, it’s not an adverse reaction. This is just an intolerance.’ And they don’t report it properly and they don’t address it properly,” Bridges explained.

“And I’ve actually been in contact with somebody in the hospital system that deals with, like, the charting and the finalization of people’s charts … They have told me that officially Methodist has told them, ‘Do not list any adverse reactions on anybody’s chart related to the vaccine.’”

Houston Methodist was also in the news recently for a lawsuit that was filed by at least 112 of its employees who say they are being unlawfully coerced and threatened into getting jabbed as a condition of employment. Read More

IDF hits Gaza terror targets after arson attacks, in first raids since ceasefire

The Times of Israel: The IDF carried out a series of airstrikes throughout the Gaza Strip early Wednesday morning in response to over two dozen fires in southern Israel caused by incendiary devices launched from the coastal enclave.

Footage posted by Palestinian media outlets in Gaza showed explosions lighting up the sky in both the northern and southern Strip overnight Tuesday-Wednesday, with reporters saying sites belonging to Hamas’s military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades were among those targeted.

No Gazans were injured in the strikes, the Hamas-affiliated Palestinian media center initially reported.

Pelosi Caves to the Squad, Walks Back Rebuke of Ilhan Omar: ‘We Thanked’ Her

PJ Media: If you were shocked when senior Democratic leaders rebuked Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) for equating so-called “crimes against humanity” by the United States and Israel to “unthinkable atrocities” by the Taliban and Hamas, well, don’t be… apparently it wasn’t a rebuke at all… at least, that’s what Nancy Pelosi is saying now.

Drawing false equivalencies between democracies like the U.S. and Israel and groups that engage in terrorism like Hamas and the Taliban foments prejudice and undermines progress toward a future of peace and security for all,” read the statement from Nancy Pelosi and five other House Democrat leaders. “We welcome the clarification by Congresswoman Omar that there is no moral equivalency between the U.S. and Israel and Hamas and the Taliban.”

“To be clear: the conversation was about accountability for specific incidents regarding those ICC (International Criminal Court) cases, not a moral comparison between Hamas and the Taliban and the U.S. and Israel,” Omar said to clarify her original statement. “I was in no way equating terrorist organizations with democratic countries with well-established judicial systems.”

It wasn’t exactly the most convincing explanation, but Pelosi is now walking back Democrat leaders’ rebuke of Omar.

“We did not rebuke her. We thanked — acknowledged that she made a clarification,” Pelosi told CNN’s Dana Bash.
