PJ Media: Today, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis held a press conference after signing a bill to protect businesses from liability related to COVID-19.

DeSantis also said he would be taking executive action to prohibit vaccine passports in the state of Florida. He stated his position clearly:

We are not supporting doing any vaccine passports in the state of Florida. No one was more aggressive about getting this out. If you look at all the different points throughout Florida, whether it’s a hospital, county health department, a retail pharmacy, a drive-through site, church sites, all this stuff, it’s important. But we’ve always said we want to provide it for all but mandate it for none. Now, with something that while it was advised to take, particularly if you’re vulnerable, we were not going to force you to do it. So, there was never under discussion any mandates to take vaccines. We will not have COVID vaccines mandatory in Florida.

The flip side of that, though, with these vaccine passports, it’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society. You want to go to a movie theater, should you have to show that? No. You want to go to a game? No. You want to go to a theme park? No.

So, we’re not supportive of that. I think it’s something that people have certain freedoms and individual liberties to make decisions for themselves. I also wonder it’s like, okay. In Canada, some cultural communities prefer boys — and people are happy to avail themselves of Canada’s feminist feticide services to rid themselves of unwanted girls. Just this month, CityNews published another exposé on sex-selective abortion in Canada.

According to the British Medical Journal this month, sex selective abortion is a growing problem in Nepal, as well. Examining census data from 2011 to 2016, several social scientists believe that the rate of missing girls who had been killed through abortion between 2006 and 2011 was one in fifty, or roughly 22,540, and that the numbers have been rising steadily.

As in many other cultures, boys are preferred to girls for financial reasons, with girls seen as a financial drain due to the necessity of paying a dowry and the likelihood of them “leaving the family” upon marriage, while boys are seen as an economic investment. Read More 

Zero Hedge: As the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin starts in Minneapolis, much of the trial will focus on the role of fentanyl in the body of George Floyd as the possible cause for his death. Notably, a new study in the last week reinforces prior research showing an alarming increase in the abuse of this powerful drug and deaths associated from it.  In some counties, there was an almost 75% increase in the first half of 2020 in fatal drug overdoses with fentanyl as the main culprit.

While Floyd denied using drugs, he later said he was “hooping,” or taking drugs. That was confirmed in the autopsy which found that Floyd died from “cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by law enforcement officer(s).”

The state’s criminal complaint against Chauvin said the autopsy “revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.

Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease.”

He also was COVID-19 positive.

Andrew Baker, Hennepin County’s chief medical examiner, strongly suggested that the primary cause was a huge amount of fentanyl in Floyd’s system:

“Fentanyl at 11 ng/ml — this is higher than (a) chronic pain patient. If he were found dead at home alone & no other apparent causes, this could be acceptable to call an OD (overdose). Deaths have been certified w/levels of 3.”
