First Images Of Israeli F-35 Stealth Jets Operating Within Lebanese Airspace
Zero Hedge: For the first time, two Lockheed Martin F-35 stealth jets were spotted over Lebanon.
A reporter posted the images via Lebanese television station, Al-Manar TV. The fighter jets were initially believed to be McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagles, but after careful review, they appear to be Israeli Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II stealth jets.
According to Al Jazeera English, Israeli jets have carried out some of their biggest bombing missions in Syria, apparently striking Iranian targets over the last month. The bombardment has shocked Lebanese residents as Israeli jets use the country’s air space to access Syria.
“Israel does not violate any bilateral agreement with any regional power if its planes invade Lebanese airspace, whereas in Syria it has an agreement with Russia and it’s more complicated for them,” Sami Nader, a Lebanese political analyst, told Al Jazeera.
“On the one hand, Israel is violating Lebanese sovereignty,” Nader added. “But on the other Lebanon has not adhered to its international commitments either, because according to the UN resolutions, Hezbollah is supposed to be unarmed but it very much has its weapons.“
Now it becomes clear why the Israeli stealth jets were spotted over Lebanon. Read More
GameStop rally is warning that market bubbles have gone mad
New York Post: In the 1630s, it was tulips. In the 1990s, it was Netscape and Pets.com. Later, as we all know, it was housing. Today, the warning sign flashing “danger,” signaling that the stock market has lost its mind, is GameStop.
GameStop is a video game retailer that has been priced at about $3 to $10 a share for much of the year. But in the past few days, individual investors have driven the share price above $300.
Many of these buyers are using Robinhood, an app that lets anyone trade stocks without a commission. Because of the pandemic, people have plenty of time on their hands, and are looking to make cash, and it’s fueled a spectacular rise in individual day trading.
Why are they buying GameStop? Well, some of the commentators on “WallStreetBets,” the Reddit message board driving the frenzy, believe it’s a good company.
But mostly they’re out to hurt the big guys. Read More
San Francisco School Board Removes 44 Names from Schools: Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson
Breitbart: Schools in San Francisco, California, will be stripped of names honoring famous American leaders deemed unworthy because of a connection to slavery or other unsavory ties, including Presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson.
John Muir, Francis Scott Key, and Catholic Priest Junipero Serra are also on the list.
In all, 44 school will be renamed, even as critics of the decision cite the committee tasked with picking the schools did not receive enough input from historians and a lack knowledge about the current school names.
“In one instance, the committee didn’t know whether Roosevelt Middle School was named after Theodore or Franklin Delano,” the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
And despite concerns that the city has more important issues to address, including the coronavirus pandemic, rampant drug overdoses, and an ongoing homelessness epidemic, the city’s school board believes it can handle multiple issues, including erasing history from the halls of education. Read More
Joe Biden to Ban New Fracking Leases on Federal Lands Despite Promise Not To
Breitbart: President Joe Biden will announce a ban on new oil and gas leases on federal lands and waters on Wednesday, according to several reports.
Biden’s decision bars any new fracking on federal lands despite his campaign promise not to ban the practice.
“I am not banning fracking. Let me say that again: I am not banning fracking,” Biden said in August 2020 during the presidential campaign. “No matter how many times Donald Trump lies about me.” Read More

Massachusetts regulator says GameStop speculation is a danger to whole market as TD Ameritrade restricts trading
CNBC: Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin told CNBC the GameStop trading frenzy represents a risk to the U.S. stock market.
- “The marketplace should be a place where risk is taken, but not reckless risk,” the securities regulator said.
- Brokerages such as TD Ameritrade have placed restrictions on trading activity involving GameStop and AMC Entertainment.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down more than 450 points, or 1.5%, on Wednesday and the benchmark S&P 500 slid nearly 2% as Wall Street digests a slew of corporate earnings and the speculative trading frenzy. Read More
‘They’re Wasting Our Time’: Rand Paul Shreds ‘Unconstitutional’ Trump Impeachment, Lists Examples Of ‘Democrat Incitement’
Zero Hedge: Kentucky GOP Senator Rand Paul shredded Congressional Democrats over the second impeachment of former President Trump, arguing in a floor speech in a procedural motion to ‘table or kill’ the proceedings that “Democrats are about to drag our great country down into the gutter of rancor and vitriol the likes of which has never been seen in our nation’s history,” adding “It’s almost as if they have no ability to exist except in opposition to Donald Trump”.
Sen. @RandPaul:

Paul then argued that Democrats are guilty of the exact ‘incitement’ they’ve accused Trump of – suggesting that “No Democrat will honestly ask whether Bernie Sanders incited the shooter that nearly killed Steve Scalise,” and “No Democrat will ask whether Maxine Waters incited violence when she literally told her supporters” to confront Trump officials in public.”

Biden putting Obama-era hawks in senior roles and preparing to fire up the War Machine again is very bad news for Syrians
RT: It is no coincidence that a resurgence of attacks by Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) on civilians and the Syrian Army have been reported in Iraq and Syria as Joe Biden’s “build back better” government takes power in Washington.
Just days before Biden’s inauguration, there were conflictingreports of US military build-up in oil-rich northeast Syria. Whatever happened in the run-up to the change of power in Washington, it is a fact that this area was already occupied and plundered by US Coalition forces and their Kurdish separatist proxies.
Some reports indicated the arrival of convoys of trucks carrying weapons, military hardware, and equipment into the region. Back in September, the “US Central Command (Centcom) deployed Sentinel radar, increased the frequency of US fighter patrols over US forces and deployed Bradley Fighting Vehicles to augment US forces,” according to spokesman Captain Bill Urban.
Biden attends Sunday Mass at ultra-liberal Jesuit-run church
LifeSite News: Joe Biden, the man who now occupies the White House, chose to attend Sunday Mass at Jesuit-run Holy Trinity Church, arguably the most effete liberal Catholic parish in the Archdiocese of Washington.
Mainstream media – normally appalled at the least hint of Christianity in the life of Washington politicians – were thrilled at the Biden clan’s Holy Trinity Mass attendance, ostensibly because the new President adheres to a brand of Catholicism that embraces abortion and sodomy and which, ironically, promises to squash religious liberty and conscience rights.
After Biden attended Mass at Washington’s Cathedral of St. Matthew on the morning of his inauguration, Austin Ruse, outspoken president of the Center for Family and Human Rights (C-FAM), wrote:
Joe Biden ate and drank his own spiritual death. That he received the Holy Eucharist from the hands of a Cardinal of the Church adds scandal upon scandal. One radio wag called it a mass for Planned Parenthood. And so, it was.
He no doubt repeated that same ugly act yesterday at Holy Trinity. Read More

POPE DEFENDS BIDEN’S “MORAL EVILS” ON ABORTION
Israel Hayom: As Joe Biden became the first Catholic in 60 years to sit in the White House last week, elements within the Catholic Church expressed disagreement with his policies on abortion which he has already begun to enact.
Jen Psaki spins out of Hyde Amdt. & Mexico City question by saying Pres. Biden is a “devout Catholic”. Either Pres. Biden is about to be a very pro-Life President or Jen Psaki (and basically everyone else) needs to stop referring to him as a “devout Catholic”…!

CATHOLIC CHURCH DIVIDED
There are some elements of the Catholic Church who remain, nonetheless, concerned over the subject. Archbishop José Gomez of Los Angeles, the president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), expressed concern about the new president in a statement, specifying Biden’s policies concerning abortion and gender issues:
Mr. Biden’s piety and personal story, his moving witness to how his faith has brought him solace in times of darkness and tragedy, his longstanding commitment to the Gospel’s priority for the poor — all of this I find hopeful and inspiring,” Fr. Gomez wrote.
But he also expressed concern for Biden’s policies.
“[A]s pastors, the nation’s bishops are given the duty of proclaiming the Gospel in all its truth and power, in season and out of season, even when that teaching is inconvenient or when the Gospel’s truths run contrary to the directions of the wider society and culture,” Fr. Gomez said. “So, I must point out that our new President has pledged to pursue certain policies that would advance moral evils and threaten human life and dignity, most seriously in the areas of abortion, contraception, marriage, and gender. Of deep concern is the liberty of the Church and the freedom of believers to live according to their consciences.”
“The continued injustice of abortion remains the ‘preeminent priority,’” Gomez said. “Preeminent does not mean ‘only.’ We have deep concerns about many threats to human life and dignity in our society. But as Pope Francis teaches, we cannot stay silent when nearly a million unborn lives are being cast aside in our country year after year through abortion,” the archbishop continued.
“I am hopeful that the new President and his new administration will work with the church and others of good will. My hope is that we can begin a dialogue to address the complicated cultural and economic factors that are driving abortion and discouraging families.”
In a rare move, Cardinal Blase Cupich and an unnamed Vatican official issued a statement rebuking Fr. Gomez without addressing Biden’s pro-abortion policies.
