The Central Banks New Mandate: Social Justice, Race, Gender Issues, Climate Change And Inequality

Zero Hedge: One upon a time, when central bank “independence” first materialized – even though as we have noted in the past central banks are anything but independent (see “Who Owns The World’s Central Banks“)…

… their mandate was to control inflation and generally this was their absolute priority.

“Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666” Rev. 13:18

Afghan troops are filmed laying down arms as US general says he’s shocked by the quick surrender

Daily Mail: All for Nothing?

  • The Afghan army is collapsing across the country, with videos posted by the Taliban showing troops laying down their US-made weapons and handing over the keys to their Humvee armoured cars
  • The US left Bagram Airfield last week – its fortress in the country for nearly 20 years – by slipping away in the night without telling the base’s new Afghan commander who discovered they had gone the next morning
  • However, General Austin Scott Miller, commander of US and Nato troops in Afghanistan, said he was shocked by how quickly the Afghan National Army had surrendered to the resurgent jihadists
  • ‘I don’t like leaving friends in need,’ he told ABC on Monday. ‘We should be concerned. The loss of terrain and the rapidity of that loss of terrain has to be concerning. You look at the security situation, it’s not good’
  • More than a thousand Afghan National Army soldiers fled into Tajikistan from the northern province of Badkhshan following clashes with the resurgent jihadists on Sunday
  • Tajikistan said that the Afghans were allowed to enter on the principle of ‘good neighbourliness’ but called up 20,000 reservists to bolster its border guard and prevent further flooding of the frontier  Read More

Report Shows How ‘Queer Creators’ Spent Years Pushing the LGBTQ Agenda in Children’s TV Programs

Breitbart: The increase of LGBTQ characters and themes popping up in TV shows made for children in the last decade is not an organic development. It’s the consequence of so-called “queer creators” pushing the LGBTQ agenda and working with major entertainment networks, writers, producers, showrunners, and directors to place sexualized themes into on-screen fare made for young audiences.

“It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.” Luke 17:2 KJV

A recent, extensive report by Entertainment Insider highlights the increase of LGBTQ messaging in children’s programming, and explains that LGBTQ activists behind the scenes have made it happen.

The rise of gender-diverse representation isn’t a coincidence,” Insider reports. “Shows created and run by queer women, trans, and nonbinary showrunners are largely responsible for the influx of nonbinary and trans characters in kids’ animation.”

One way activists have accomplished this is by getting around the typical merit-based hiring process, and searching specifically new staff that are members of the LGBTQ community. Read More

‘We’ll Go Door-To-Door’: Biden Launching Campaign To Compel Unvaccinated Americans To Get Jab

Zero Hedge: The Biden administration is organizing a door-to-door campaign to encourage unvaccinated Americans to take the jab, after failing to achieve their 4th of July vaccination targets.

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads.” Rev. 13:16

While laying out the Biden administration’s plan to boost vaccines, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said they would focus on “targeted community door-to-door outreach to get remaining Americans vaccinated by ensuring they get the information they need on how both safe and accessible the vaccine is.

So, they’ve got a list?

Who’s Ready for Another Subprime Real Estate Crash? Joe Biden, That’s Who

PJ Media: Remember the early part of the 21st century, when Washington “helped” poor people by encouraging reckless lending to buy houses?

And remember how the reckless loaning practices made their way up through the middle class?

Remember how we ended up with a massive bubble of bad loans and overpriced housing?

Then remember how millions of people ended up losing everything or at best having their finances ruined for years?

“Wasn’t that awesome?” said no one ever.9 Best Subprime Loans for Bad Credit (Personal, Auto, Home) | BadCredit.org

Biden’s new dilemma: How to slash housing costs for low-income borrowers

When the bubble popped — all bubbles pop — we ended up with the Great Recession and everyone with a lick of sense said, “Let’s never do that again!”

Democrats have not a lick of sense.

To wit:

A long-awaited Supreme Court decision last month gave Biden the ability to remove the Trump-era leader of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and he wasted no time. The president installed as interim director an agency veteran who says she’ll make affordable housing and combating discrimination a top priority.  Read More

US Commander in Afghanistan Worried About Taliban Advances

VOA: As the last U.S. forces are withdrawn from Afghanistan after nearly 20 years of fighting, the American commander says he is worried about the territorial advance of Taliban insurgents attempting to take back control of the country.

U.S. Army Gen. Scott Miller, in an interview broadcast Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” show, said the Taliban is “gaining strength.”

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.” Revelation 16:12

“We should be concerned,” he said. “The loss of terrain is concerning.”

For the Afghans trying to maintain control, he said, “Hope matters. Morale matters.”

Activist Teachers Brag About Injecting Race, ‘Equity’ Lessons in Elementary Classrooms

Breitbart: Several King County, Washington, activist teachers revealed to Crosscut how they inject race and “equity” lessons into their elementary classrooms.

Kent teacher Joanne Barber took advantage of violent Black Lives Matter protests last year “to teach more about race” in her second grade class.

“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,” Acts 17:26

“I am willing to be that teacher that has those hard conversations,” she said. “I would be doing a huge disservice to my students if I didn’t give them information that they could see themselves in.”

She told Crosscut learning that “racial history” is “just as important as reading or math.”

Barber teaches children 7- and 8-year-olds that slavery “led to institutional racism and implicit bias.” She also “weaves race and equity into every subject” and “every day in her class is filled with race education.” Read More

OPEC+ Crisis Propels Oil to Six-Year High – Economic Recovery at Stake

Bloomberg: Oil jumped to the highest in more than six years after a bitter fight between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates plunged OPEC+ into crisis and blocked a supply increase.

West Texas Intermediate crude advanced to $76.98 a barrel, the highest since November 2014, as the breakdown in talks left the market without the extra supplies for next month it had been counting on.

“By the God of your father who will help you,
And by the Almighty who will bless you
With blessings of heaven above,
Blessings of the deep that lies beneath,
Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.” Genesis 49

What happens next will determine whether the standoff could escalate into a conflict as destructive as last year’s price war.

Compulsory jabs: Pressure grows on anti-vaxxers

Medical Press: A growing number of countries and territories around the world are forcing people, often in specific sectors, to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Mandatory in Tajikistan, Vatican

Tajikistan and the Vatican are among the rare countries imposing vaccinations on all adults.

In the Vatican, the world’s smallest state, vaccinations were made obligatory for residents and workers in February, with those refusing liable to be sacked.
