Elizabeth Warren makes fresh push for wealth tax – ‘Yes, Jeff Bezos, I’m looking at you’
CNBC: Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Wednesday reignited her push for a tax on the wealth of the richest Americans and called out billionaire Amazon founder and space-tourism magnate Jeff Bezos for what she views as his failure to pay his fair share.

“I want to see us tax wealth, however your wealth is tied up. It shouldn’t make a difference whether you have real estate, or whether you have cash or whether you have a bazillion shares of Amazon. Yes, Jeff Bezos, I’m looking at you,” the Massachusetts Democrat said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”
“Whatever form you have your assets — diamonds, yachts, paintings — I think there ought to be a tax on that annually,” she added.
Bezos is the wealthiest person on Earth with a net worth of $207.7 billion, according to Forbes.

Health Ministry to begin offering third coronavirus vaccine dose – next week
Arutz Sheva: Israel’s Health Ministry is preparing to begin providing the elderly population with its third dose of the coronavirus vaccine next week, Yediot Aharonot reported.
On Wednesday, the Health Ministry staff for management of pandemics will hold a meeting to make its final decision regarding the provision of a third dose.
Sources in the Ministry said that if it is decided to offer a third dose, that decision will be implemented immediately.
During a Wednesday morning interview with Galei Zahal, Professor Eli Waxman of the Weizmann Institute of Science called on the Health Ministry to approve the provision of a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
“You need to understand that we don’t have time,” he said. “We need to immediately approve the third dose of the vaccine against coronavirus, to start the campaign – and to vaccinate, at the end of the day, the entire population.”

Classified Report Biden Could Release Provides Intricate Detail on Eric Swalwell Relationship with ‘Fang Fang’
Breitbart: The U.S. Intelligence Community currently has in its possession a classified report that includes intricate and intimate details of the nature of the relationship between Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and a Chinese spy known as “Fang Fang,” Breitbart News has confirmed.

The report, which intelligence and national security sources familiar with its contents who spoke on condition of anonymity told Breitbart News, contains details of the nature of Swalwell’s relationship with Fang Fang including certain sexual acts they allegedly engaged in together. Sources familiar with it, however, would not provide any more detail on the nature of those acts or other details in the report—which is currently classified.
The relationship was first revealed in news reports in December 2020 when Axios uncovered that Fang Fang had targeted up-and-coming Bay Area, California, politicians:
Fang took part in fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign, according to a Bay Area political operative and a current U.S. intelligence official. Swalwell’s office was directly aware of these activities on its behalf, the political operative said. That same political operative, who witnessed Fang fundraising on Swalwell’s behalf, found no evidence of illegal contributions.

Times of Israel: A swastika was found on Monday carved into an elevator at the United States State Department, near the office of the special envoy to monitor and combat antisemitism.

This is widely considered the tipping point for EV adoption because this battery price level makes the vehicle as cheap as an internal combustion engine car. Yet before anyone could really celebrate the news, other reports started coming in: a shortage of semiconductors, used generously in EVs as well as ICE cars; a looming shortage of steel because of supply chain disruptions resulting from the pandemic; but worst of all, warnings about a supply crunch in battery metals and minerals because of the projected boom in demand.
