US Cracks Down On China Abuse, Warns American Firms Face Legal Risks Using Forced-Labor Suppliers

Zero Hedge: In the latest escalation of tensions between the U.S. and China, the U.S. Department of State, Department of the Treasury, Department of Commerce, and the Department of Homeland Security issued a supply chain advisory, warning U.S. companies operating or doing business in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (Xinjiang) and elsewhere in China to abandon those supply chains or face consequences.

“And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A [d]quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” Rev. 6:6

The advisory comes as the US has been an outspoken critic of the Chinese using forced labor, such as the Uyghurs, ethnic Kazakhs, ethnic Kyrgyz, and other Muslim minority groups, in factories in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and other manufacturing hubs. Read More

France to make COVID jabs mandatory for many, life ‘totally impossible’ without COVID passport

LifeSite News: Compulsory COVID “vaccination” for health workers and extended sanitary passport requirements are the most spectacular measures announced this Monday evening by Emmanuel Macron, France’s globalist president.

The announcements were made during a televised speech during which the French president made clear that all the new measures have a single objective: to get more and more citizens to choose to receive the experimental vaccine. If that does not work, making the jab compulsory for all may be considered.

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads.” Rev. 13:16

But Macron wants more than that. In order to stop “even more dangerous variants” from making an appearance, he said an “immense project” needs to be implemented: “To vaccinate the world.”

Moreover Macron explicitly refused to rule out compulsory vaccination for all French people.

For the millions of you who have not yet been vaccinated, depending on the evolution of the situation we will have to raise the question of compulsory vaccination for all French people. But for now I chose trust, and I solemnly call on all our fellow citizens who haven’t yet been vaccinated to do so today. Nine million doses are ready for you.

Inflation climbs higher than expected in June as price index rises 5.4%

CNBC: Inflation continued its rapid surge in June, rising at its fastest pace in nearly 13 years amid an ongoing burst in used vehicle costs and increases in both food and energy, the Labor Department reported Tuesday.

“And he who earns wages,
Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” Haggai 1:6

The consumer price index increased 5.4% from a year ago, the largest jump since August 2008, just before the worst of the financial crisis. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been expecting a 5% gain.

Stripping out volatile food and energy prices, the core CPI rose 4.5%, the sharpest move for that measure since September 1991 and well above the estimate of 3.8%.

On a monthly basis, headline and core prices both rose 0.9% against 0.5% estimates. Read More

White House Warns US Firms About Risks Of Remaining In Hong Kong

Zero Hedge: Picking up where his predecessor left off, President Biden will reportedly warn American businesses this week about the growing risks of operating in Hong Kong as Beijing consolidates its power over the territory, which was supposed to remain legally independent under international law for the next three decades.

“For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.” James 3:16 ESV

Sources close to the White House and its thinking told the FT that Biden is also preparing to impose more sanctions on Beijing tied to the Chinese government’s alleged abuse of Uyghur Muslims in the far-western Xinjiang province, as well as Beijing’s crackdown on political dissent in HK. Examples will include Beijing’s crackdown on the Apple Daily tabloid which was forcibly shuttered by the government despite its popularity over its pro-democracy stance.

And pretty soon, Biden’s warning might to turn into an edict ordering business back home. Read More

‘Ignore no soliciting signs. Use your script’: COVID door-knockers get marching orders

WND: It’s not taking long for President Biden’s plan to dispatch federal representatives to your front door to ask you about your COVID vaccine to become reality.

One county in Illinois already has posted instructions for those interrogators on how to act when they confront you, including for them to ignore “No soliciting” signs.

No mention, however, of whether they’re supposed to ignore “No trespassing” directives.

“We went from 15 days to slow the spread, to Biden’s gestapo knocking door-to-door to see your papers,” wrote Jenna Ellis. “Who did Nazi that one coming?” Read More

57 Missing or Imprisoned in Cuba Protests Include Artists, Peace Activists, Priests

Breitbart: The Cuban pro-democracy group Cuba Decide confirmed the disappearance or arrest of 57 people since protests erupted throughout the island on Sunday night, many of them prominent critics of the communist regime.

“It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.” Proverbs 16:12 NKJV

Cuba experienced a wave of protests nationwide on Sunday, affecting at least 20 localities from far-west Pinar del Rio to Santiago de Cuba, the capital of Oriente province. Reports estimate thousands took to the streets, chanting “freedom,” “down with communism,” and other anti-regime slogans. Authorities have not published any official estimates of the number of people protesting and the disparate events nationwide were not organized by any centralized group, so no true number of how many Cubans were on the streets exists.

The Communist Party responded to the protests by calling for civil war, urging civilians to violently attack anyone participating in protests. Read More

Israel’s Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Same-Sex Couple Surrogacy Rights

Algemeiner: Israel’s Supreme Court on Sunday ruled that current legal restrictions barring same-sex couples from becoming parents through surrogacy were unlawful and must be lifted within six months.

“You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” Leviticus 18:22

The country’s LGBTQ+ community praised the decision as a breakthrough. It had demanded for years to be allowed to pursue surrogacy, which is already accessible to heterosexual couples and single women in Israel.

Anything But Transitory: Consumers Expect Inflation In One Year To Soar To 4.8%

Zero Hedge: While central banks, tenured economists and the financial media are doing everything in their propaganda power to convince Americans that the current phase of hyperinflation is merely transitory (although it now appears that even the Fed is getting some doubts writing in its semi annual monetary policy report that inflation is “more lasting but likely still temporary” until proven otherwise, of course), the shocking reality on the ground is that the Fed has effectively lost control over near-term inflation expectations, as the NY Fed’s own survey of consumer expectations reveals.

“And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A [d]quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” Revelation 6:6

According to the latest, June, installment of this closely watched survey, consumer inflation expectations for one year ahead, jumped by the most on record, surging by 0.8% in one month, from 4.0% in May to an all-time high for this series of 4.8% in June.
